At the age of 93 (the same age as my Grandfather) news reporter Mike Wallace passed away today. I can remember seeing him on TV at my Grandparents house when I was a little kid. And then my parents watching him also. I wish there were more news reporters like him today. All you get is the truth and no BS. hxtr 1

The old-style reporter used to verify their facts and take pride in what they wrote. The behaviour of today's breed of hack means we can trust little of what is reported. I was greatly pleased to learn that a BBC space correspondent who reported on the Moon landing by Apollo 11 is alive and well and living three miles away from me. He is 97 years old! Here's Reg Turnill... hxtr 1 Awards

It almost didn’t matter what stories he was covering, you just wanted to hear what he would ask next. He will be missed... RIP Mike... hxtr 1 Awards

Rather inform you of a story no bios attached.. the news is geared on how it effects you. Or i call it drama news and reality TV news. Most of it is just pure bullshit. Dont mean dick to anyone but they makes you feel it does. Have you not heard the following in some way.... it is all see now days in the news. Oh man corn is bad for you. oh man corn is good for you. Oh man too much corn will kill you. Oh man not enough corn will kill you. Corn if eaten on a cob will kill you. You must eat the corn off the cob or it will kill you. blaaa blaa blaa blaa... News today is one big fucking huge advertisement. Oh it's TV... thats why. Capitalism at it's worst. Supply and Demand.... Supply of mounds of ignorance... demand for the shit we allow them to feed us. Sorry Mike.. just a tangent. I am sticking up for your kind. R.I.P. GorillaXI 1

I giggle and respond, "I sure am!" This Mike Wallace will surely be missed. Gorilla, you're description of him is perfect. Hope to see you on the other side, Mr. Wallace. hxtr 1 Awards
