I am thinking just in case I need to get a new MOBO I would throw this out there for some very good advise from you experts. I have M3N HT Delux MOBO right now and my CPU is a 965 Black Edition Quad. I run a 64 bit OS. I do have a room in the box concern and cant afford a new machine yet. I need one approx the same size and compatible with my CPU. What would you advise and is it a better MOBO than the one I have?

Why would you get a new mobo if your current one is working fine? There's no point in it unless you're looking to upgrade the CPU.

As i can see, your old Motherboard was AM2+ so it only supports DDR2. If you could tell me if you dont care about upgrading your ram to DDR3 i could help you find a good MB for your needs.

I just analysed your setup and yes, you will have to change either your memory or your memory(or both). This Mobo supports 4x2GB of ram so it means that you can't run 4GB sticks. If you want to keep your mobo you could get a 4x2GB kit of DDR2 but these are very expensive since DDR2 is absolete. Like this one http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820159025 . At 100$, i would not recommend buying this kit since DDR2 is old tech and for about 115$ you could get a AM3 motherboard and a 2x4GB DDR3 kit. Like these two http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820231422 and http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813157280 . I did not check if the memory is on the supported list but honnestly i built quite a few computers with DDR3 kit and never had issues with compatibility.

Hope this helps!
