Trying To Watch Video From Game But.....!

I have tried to ask this question before but when I record a player in game on any other mod than the ace mod it tells me that there is a mismatch with the weapon the player is using and refuses to let me watch the videos. Tho in the ace mod I can click on the video and I can watch them immediately. Is there anyone that can tell me what I am doing wrong verses what I did to the ace Mod? I tried to get cspears set up using this method as its so simple anybody can do it but I must be missing a step in the set-up process! I would really appreciate your help on this matter! The following screenshot is what I get with any weapon on the freeze tag servers but its the weapon of the player you record! Please assist me if you can!!!

Dean I wish I could help you but I have had the same problem and just finally gave up on it I hope you find someone here who can help  you

From what little I can say it appears that the weapon  "mp44_mp" has been modded which in terms could mean a cheat be it scroll wheeling/hack or whatever but 

the server has detected the mod to the weapon there by calling it a mismatch...

try this; Open game, click on MOD, from the list select the same mod as the one in the recording. Other then that I got nothing lol GL

wish i could remember the console commands for the videos with the mods, i had some trouble like this too but some commands helped, i would google the error. good luck and it might depend on OS or compatability...might be CVAR index too... Google or Bing best bet.. one more thing if all you play is the mod try reinstalling 1.7 patch too.. just flowing some ideas to you really hope it works out too...

If
you recorded the demo in any type of mod, go into your mods folder and
find the mod you were playing whilst recording. in that mod's folder
there will be a subfolder called 'demos' and that is where your demo
will be located.

Thanks for all your input but taking videos is not the prob and if it is a hack/cheat then it's from OUR mods. I also know the commands to the video both to record and to stop record. Again I say the problem is getting the cod4 player to play the videos from any server with the exception of the acemod. The picture shows what the error is and I can't find anything online except in a mapper's forum. Even they don't believe its a mod problem but some other things but we don't have some of the things in our mods that they were referring to. I have sent this to Rugger beings this can potentially help the admins lighten their workload. I will wait till he gets the time to look into it! Thanks again for trying!

You are correct Dean it is in our mods...From what I seen there is a file/files that need a name change in the folder/folders for the map pack/packs on the server

it is beyond my coconut....May I also ask is it possible to move/copy said video and change its format to view by some other means or source

seems the problem is as follows This is a matter of great sorrow that there is no converter software for converting .dm_1 file to .avi.

however

 

Option 1 Using fraps (recommended):
When running a cod4demo of your own through console command,use fraps to capture that demo in avi format.Later you can upload it to youtube.
However the advantage of doing this in COD is that the low fps you get from recording wont effect your gameplay as your watching a video of yourself. This option takes a lot of HDD space and gives nice quality.Its high quality and easy and takes a lot of space but it will not provide a smooth demo because you playing back the demo and capturing to fraps.

Option 2 Ingame command:
This option will give you the best quality and smoothness,but it does also require a hell lot of work.And also you will not get sound in that demo.Playback your demo, and type /cl_avidemo 30 in the console, your screen will go fairly jerky and your FPS will hit the floor. What it is doing is taking a screenshot 30 times a second. 
Once you have your desired footage, you will have a LOT of screenshots in your screenshots folder. What you need to do is convert these from TGA to Jpeg.Use Reaconverter to convert those TGA files to jpeg.Reaconverter is available fromhttp://www.reasoft.com/products/reaconverter/

 

And yes all this will not correct what Dean is having a problem with which if anyone has had this problem or know of someone that may have ...He can play back via COD4 video player but all mods do not work.....ace/ftg1/ftg2/mwf etc

 

SO ? IS WHY IT WILL WORK ON SOME BUT NOT OTHERS AND REPORTS A WEAPONS MISMATCH ERROR WHEN ATTEMPTING PLAYBACK

1 MORE THING DEAN CAN U MOVE THE .DM_1 FILE FROM THE MOD THAT REPORTS THIS ERROR TO A KNOWN MOD THAT WORKS
