I hired a fellow to remove the brush as the camp is 2.5 hours away. He was surprised by this hen grouse put the run to him. After investigating he found this nest and left her alone. From the time I was about 6 until I was 17 I hunted grouse regularly, and in all those years I never saw a single nest. They aren't easy to spot for obvious reasons. Awards

I just hope that the other creatures in the woods leave some. Sounds like the Hen is pretty tough so maybe she can keep them away. Awards
