Could there be a slight twinkle of hope for justice,society, and sense of right and wrong? Although I felt he was innocent I would have almost bet "the farm" that he would be found guilty of something . . . . anything just to please the White House and the rioters standing by with bricks. The civil suit that is most certainly going to develop will be the circus that the media will love, I just hope that the fact that Zimmerman had his nose broken and his head bounced repeatedly off the sidewalk isn't overlooked as non life threatening sense If I'm not mistaken is the reason why he pulled the trigger. Just what is the criteria for finding someone guilty of wrongful death? I live in a small town in Montana and the racial tension building in many large cities over this verdict is non-existent here, I just hope everyone can keep a clear head and a steady hand. No one will truly know what really happened that day but the verdict was the correct one. All this talk about the media, the white house, conspiracy etc etc is just that... Talk. What is sad is trials such as this do one thing only, divide us, culturally, politically and racially. I am sure there will be a Civil Suit brought by the plaintiffs (Martin's) against the defendant (Zimmerman). Trial procedures are much different and the defendant cannot refuse to testify. The award if anything would likely be financial. Martin has the financial resources behind him to do as he wishes. Zimmerman is probably dead broke already. But if he is found guilty in a civil suit I suppose that will be a victory for the Martin's and perhaps provide some sort of closure. I doubt that this is over as yet.
