The other night I was out in the boat and there was no moon at all dark as hell and I had my camper right on the shore and it was still hard to find with the spotlight. What a relief it is when you find it. How were you fishing that you outfished the downriggers? What did you catch the bass on? I'm always interested in what people use to catch their fish . . you never know when you will need a fresh technique to catch fish What state is Lake George in? Awards

For the bass the only thing I have been using all season everywhere and killin em are Kaitek jig heads with 4" Kaitek paddle tail jigs. Unbelivable lures,...cant hardly find them anywhere but when I do I stock up. And lake George is upstate NY about 50 miles past Albany. Its like 32 miles long and 2 wide...if you google "the narrows lake George" you will see a bunch of islands and NW of that a bay...the land runs straight down into the water to 85' and the trout are feeding near the ledges from 70 to bottom (85') Its 3 hours from me and I am def gonna grind out one or two more trips before winter!!! Smaller and cleaner is definitely better. I would rather find a different way to catch em then to throw the "silverware drawer" out to troll with. Its always cool when you find em on the electronics and then catch em. That's it I cant stand it anymore . . . . . .hooking up the boat and I'm outta here! Leadfinger >gone fishing Awards
