I got out of bed @ 0300 and was at the hunting property @ 0420. In the woods and in a tree @ 0530. The temp... a warm 25F. This is what hunting is all about. So there I sat, 0635 Dawn. And Sat 0700, and sat 0800, and you get the point... I finally gave up for the day at 1100. Apparently, I choose poorly! So after 5.5 hours of FREEZING my NUTS OFF!!! I got Zilch! What a start to the first day of Gun Season. That's ok IT IS ON BAMBI! I will be back in the Hollow on FRIDAY and Damn it, its time to fill the FREEZER!!! Â Did anyone else enjoy Frozen Nuts? Awards

That much dedication deserves something besides frozen nuts. Good luck to you next time hopefully Mother nature will see what your going thru and send a nice Buck your way. Here in Montana we get up a dawn and drive thru the woods in our heated pickup and use our binoculars to scope the area for a trophy buck.
