They will fix it eventually. Unless you have XP. In which case you are fucked. It must be pretty bad when DHS tells you not to use the product of the biggest computer company in the world. http://money.cnn.com/2014/04/28/technology/security/internet-explorer-bug/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 KingStinger! 1 Awards

I decided to use FF yesterday for a while and did some surfing, and within 10 minutes my antivirus blocked 2 malware threats and one virus. Two more malware threats made it through and I needed to run malwarebytes to remove them. IE gets hacked most often because so many people use it. Apple doesn't have many PC threats because the hackers figure why waste all of the time developing malware that's only going to effect a few thousand people around the world. Sometimes the web just isn't worth all the damn trouble. Edited April 28, 2014 by little_old_man Awards

But if you have XP then FF has the benefit of still being supported. So there isnt much else of a choice. Except running it in a sandbox, if that even works. As always it depends on where you go. My internet use is pretty limited and I dont go to very many new websites unless I know for sure they are legit. I also use very strict script blockers in addition to the anti-adware stuff to block known bad sites so maybe that helps. Oh and never, ever go to a website with the .ru extension. China is obviously also pretty bad. Awards

I used chrome now for some years and never had a problem with malware or viruses that were deploid through the browser itself. KingStinger! 1
