With that being said catching some fish would go a long way to having that good time . . . . . . . Whenever I go to a new place to fish I do as your doing and research as much as I can before I go. When you get there go out and talk to some of the guys who are fishing, most fishermen are willing to tell you what they are using for bait and show you the rig they are throwing it on . . that's what is great about people who fish . . good people. Also be flexible and take a variety of hooks weights and lures so you don't have to spend your beer money on more tackle you already have and left at home.
