Technic Client logs can be found here

In order to get your logs, please go into the Launcher Options (upper-right corner), then on the bottom-left corner of that screen, click "Open Logs". The logs are all called techniclauncher_YYYY-MM-DD.log, with YYYY being the Year, MM being the Month, and DD being the day.

sounds like it could be an issue if your memory dumps but post up the Logs first to check

Another thing, i always get "not responding"/crashing when I walk past my ME, which isn't complex at all.

This is the error I see at the very end, right before it cuts out.

So I guess something is wrong with your NEI.

Have you tried re-installing the mod-pack?

a re install should work but also make sure that the mod is deleted properly off your system (no random folders from the mod) then download the current version (8.5)

this is the folder that technic uses

use the windows key plus s     and do a search for %AppData% to get there

Windows: C:\Users\"User Name"\%AppData%\Roaming\.technic

If you have no saved single player games you can delete the whole .technic folder and then re install the technic launcher  if you choose to start clean

Ive been getting this issue now as well, ever since I updated my Java. If there is a new version out i am going to try and update again and if that dont work then downgrade to a previous version before the issue started. Im almost certain thats the issue.

you may be on to something King

i took another look at the report and not sure if this is relevant or not but i saw this

[B#347] 2016/05/09 14:40:26 [INFO] May 09, 2016 2:40:26 PM java.util.prefs.WindowsPreferences <init>

[B#347] 2016/05/09 14:40:26 [INFO] WARNING: Could not open/create prefs root node Software\JavaSoft\Prefs at root 0x80000002. Windows RegCreateKeyEx(...) returned error code 5

This kind of seems like it's a UAC issue...does java run as administrator on clients ?

or would that have to be set to do so

NOTE:

I found a workaround but it involves windows registry editing.

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21496098

ALWAYS make a backup before you do any registry work. Registry work can break the hell out of your pc if you do not know what you are doing.

There are safer methods to try other than this... Only try this if you think you can handle it

So reinstalling it twice did not fix it, I edited the registry and hopefully that will work.

the crash report says you have

Java Version: 1.8.0_66, Oracle CorporationJVM Flags: 6 total; -XX:HeapDumpPath=MojangTricksIntelDriversForPerformance_javaw.exe_minecraft.exe.heapdump -Xms5120m -Xmx5120m -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=4 -XX:PermSize=256M

it also says stencil buffers are enabled

Stencil buffer state: Function set: GL30, pool: forge, bits: 8

so lets try the easy approach

go to launcher options and disables stencil buffer and retry it

make sure the amd video drivers are up to date

and then lastly you can try a different version of java make sure the launcher is closed while java is being changed

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-javase8-2177648.html

let us know if that helps

it was just cobble stone and dirt and it wasn't like the other crashes. Usually when it crashes the screen turns white and says not responding, then it closes out. But the chest crash suddenly closed out the client.

Yeah probably. So today i loaded the pack and it crashed saying this:

A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
#
#  EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x000000006a9bff4d, pid=5884, tid=4416

I tried multiple versions of java and still cannot get the pack to launch...

and now trying to reinstall it gives me an error saying it can't read the info on the modpack...

Edit:

Reinstalling technic did't work either

Edit: Got in by trying yet another jave version, but not sure if the original problem is fixed.

I did a search on error 0xc0000005 and got some mixed reviews.

the easiest fix i found was this post

Fix 0xc0000005 Error With a Registry Cleaner

However, the best thing to do, and the most simple, is to run a Registry Cleaner. This tool helps you keep away from errors like the 0xc0000005 error, while maintaining you computer at full speed. A good registry cleaner will not only fix 0xc0000005 error, but also prevent hundreds of other errors from even showing.

The worst i found was this

How To Fix 0xc0000005 Error?

In many cases the 0xc0000005 error has been generated by faulty RAM memory. So if you have just upgraded your computer with some new memory and you started getting this error then removing them is a good option. You can see if the 0xc0000005 error goes away. If it does then send the memory back and get a refund!

all the info came from the same source and article wich is here

Alright do you know if there are any legit programs for cleaning up your registry, I noticed that a lot of them are viruses themselves.
