Does anyone know how to fix the issue in COD 4 described as "iw3mp.exe" error.

COD 4 crashes to desktop, then the errors appears.

I appreciate any assistance. Thank you!

What OS do you use?

Be sure you get DirectX and vcredist_64bit.exe and vcredist_32bit.exe

Try compatible modes, like Windows XP or Windows 7 if you have Windows 10.

The iw3mp.exe crash is an unfixable issue due to Infinity Ward's coding crap in the actual exe and dll files.

It mostly happens after downloading a new IWD, which is part of a mod or map file.

This sometimes happens when you run the game without a microphone plugged in, and a few other times.

There so far is no way that I'm aware of to fix it without using a fixed exe and dll

Many of us use this and it fixes crashes, iwd download crashes, the microphone having to be plugged in crash etc. It's free and no gimmicks that I've found so far.

Cheers.
