So, with the help of my buddies Rudy & Det, I built a custom bench affording me a little more space. Not bad for ~$50. Edited March 8, 2021 by Timmah! The 2X4 are Pine; I believe the 4X4 are also Pine. I just -for health reasons-specified it be untreated. The top comes off & I have another, beefier top I can set on top for heavier woodworking or other projects. It's so stable & level that I didn't even need to secure the top with the L brackets I bought. Menard's has a drop saw outside in the back lumber yard where you can have your shit cut-to-length. Always loved working with my hands & it was a great excuse to spend a few $$ & do just that. Also nice that I can disassemble the entire thing in about 20 minutes to transport, when I move. Gonna attach a bench vise to the side for funzies. Oh, & conveniently, there were 2 2-foot sections of 4X4 remaining, which I can use to brace the Y-axis at the top & bottom.
