I think i might have some out in the shed. Nah. I shy away from 8 tracks. There are those who collect 8-Tracks though. 8-Tracks were developed by Mr. Bill Lear. He is best known for Lear Jets I have a Akai combo tape deck that has 8 Track, Cassette and Reel to Reel players on it. On the back it says "Under License from Lear Corporation" . Interesting stuff. Anyway get those tapes out of the shed !!! Shed/Garage storage of tape or vinyl is a big no no !!! Now if those 8 Tracks are "Classic Rock" tapes, then you definitely need to get them out of the heat. And make sure if the tapes have a "foam" pressure pads, that they are not deteriorated. You can find replacement pads and they are easy to change. But classic rock 8 tracks can fetch a little money on eBay or Reverb.com Depends on artist. But dig them out and see what you have !!!
