If any of you are in the path of totality tomorrow remember to wear your $2.50 paper and plastic glasses to protect your eyes.

Sounds crazy doesn't but they work.

Don't have glasses so will be using this... 8" solar filter I have for my telescope.

You need a camera mount for that telescope!

Looking at that option this morning, I do have an adapter for my Canon that fits into the 2" eyepiece.  Doesnt start till about 2:25ish ADT so got time to set up yet.

Alas, I am just outside the totality and in the 90% zone.  I did get to watch a good total eclipse that I was dead center of just outside Richland, Washington in the mid 70's.  I took 2 #5 welding hood lenses and took a small piece of cardboard, cut a hole and taped the edges of the lenses too it.  Worked like a champ.  It was still a little bright,  If you can get lenses that total 11 it would probably be better.   Enjoy

It’s sunny and 77 degrees in Northeast Arkansas right now. Clouds have stayed away. They are predicting we should have almost 3 minutes of totality in my area.

Well it came and went, it was cool as shit. Most likely won’t ever see another one in my lifetime.
