Giving us the finger
KaptCrunch and 3 others reacted to RobMc for a topic
A man had an accident whilst at his work bench and thought he should phone his wife. "Hello dear. I'm afraid I've chopped off one of my fingers." "What! The whole finger?" "No. The one next to it."4 points -

Pronghorn Antelope
tsw 8.5 and one other reacted to SparksHunter for a topic
Yes , this is one of the better calibers for this type of hunting. It will shoot a lot further than I am comfortable at range. Didn't realize how hard it is to shoot off bipod shooting sticks, holding steady, holding my breath. Was much easier when I was younger!!2 points -

Yep we have done most of this. Been here many times. Love it here. Unfortunately 441 is closed so we can't get to most of the park, but that's okay, plenty of things to do.1 point

Old people have problems that you haven't even considered yet. An 85-year-old man was requested by his doctor for a sperm count as part of his physical exam. The doctor gave the man a jar and said, 'Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow'. The next day the 85-year-old man re-appeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day. The doctor asked what happened and the man explained, 'Well, doc, it's like this. First I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing. Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with her right hand, then with her left, still nothing. She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in, then with her teeth out, still nothing. We even called up Arleen, the lady next door and she tried too, first with both hands, then an armpit, and she even tried squeezing' it between her knees, but still nothing'. The doctor was shocked! 'You asked your neighbour?' The old man replied, 'Yep, none of us could get the jar open'.1 point

So was everything else mate, enjoy it as long as you can, by the way try a tripod, big difference to a bipod you can get some fairly light ones using modern materials.1 point -

Even I know this one, although Weed never mentioned a calibre as far as I can see You are correct a 270 carries more velocity and a flatter trajectory, perfect for long ranges, which is probably why Sparkshunter chose it?? Perfect for where he shoots, no trees or undergrowth But it isn't the best for short distances, such as trees or undergrowth as it may be too powerful and pass straight through without dumping all it's energy into the kill and merely wounding. 30-30 may not have the penetration but it will have the killing power. Am I correct boys, you hunt more than me??1 point

Bobo calling himself a legend after every game is turning him into a legend. No one will ever forget the Legendary legend of all legends being the last man standing and never moving! Only a true legend could pull that off. Legendary!1 point

YEE HAWWW! My part of the woods.... HAVE FUN! But.... DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT do the MOONSHINE TASTING don't drink it if you don't want to have a hell of a hangover the next day and wonder what the heck all happened the day before ... https://www.tnshineco.com/ DO THE ZIP LINE!!! Even if someone is afraid of heights, blah blah blah, they gotta do it! https://www.westgateresorts.com/blog/smoky-mountain-ziplines/ (I like the ones where you go with a guide and do the hard stuff tarzan "survive amongst the trees" sort of extreme challenges - like obstacle course for zip lining. Wear tough clothing for that as you might bump into trees and such. You know, the ones where you really need to have great international insurance, but don't worry most like that are out of country for the crazy dangerous ones.) Around Gatlinburg most are tame and fun. DOLLYWOOD (the rides, whatever... but the MUSIC is really good) I just go to see the great landscaping for gardening ideas, to be honest. BEAUTIFUL - better than Busch Gardens imho. As for food there, yuck really... I suppose I like the Front Porch, but tend to just not eat anything at Dollywood, I really don't like "Southern Food" to be honest... (I am a New England girl at heart.) But right now there is the Harvest Festival Food Pass thingie going on... --> https://www.dollywood.com/themepark/dining/harvest-tasting-pass/#menu and the there is Aunt Granny's Restaurant which is pretty good. HAVE FUN! If staying at a cabin up in the woods, do NOT leave any food outside or eat outside actually ... attracts bears, they are gentle in TN, but still big and wild and we don't want those bears getting hurt (or the other way around.)1 point

Come see us in COD4
baldie reacted to HarryWeezer for a topic
As Rob points out, some of us are old and decrepit. We're in bed by 8 p.m. but we're up around 5 a.m. and ready to kill virtually. It's the only exercise we get, other than filling grocery bags at the checkout and your occasional masturbation.1 point -
Pronghorn Antelope
baldie reacted to SparksHunter for a topic
Antelope are in most of the Western states, in the high desert areas. I've seen them as high as 8,000 feet. I now have a 3 year waiting period before I can put in for the tag lottery. I've seen huge herds in Wyoming, they practically give them out there. I do live in northern Nevada, which is all high desert,1 point -
Hey that's a bit rough on old Sparks Mark? I'm sure his mommy loved him (even if the midwife smacked his father)1 point

Send the rear end to Kapt, he'll stuff it for you, send the front end to Budman, one kiss and it'll be pickled, then send it to TBB and he'll 'mount' it.1 point
