I understand, and i agree that if you want to just play and stay low then you are most welcome to do that. As you said i have signed up for the task of Admin and so i accept the reduced game time and all the BS that comes with it. Members are not obliged to patrol the server and miss out on game time, but if you see something up and no admin is on then if you feel like it then take a video but if you would rather just keep on fragging then remember their alias and tell an admin when you can so we can spend the time doing the research on that player. If you are having to do the extra work you are not charged with because there is no Admin presence in your particular server then that is another issue entirely and should be taken up with the Seniors etc.

You say it's frustrating to spend countless hours speccing and recording only to have it shut down on you during the process? Welcome to the club! Except we get shut down and then have players/members wanting to climb on us as well for what ever reason. Getting the result we didn't want happens to us all the time, but Head admins and seniors have access to tools and databases we game admins don't have so we sometimes don't get the complete picture they do.

If you don't hear from an admin keep on them regularly about it. Sometime we are pushed for time, I will use myself as an example.
 
Monday to Saturday I am typically away from home up to 14 hours a day being at and traveling to and from work. I try to put at least an hour into Admin duties outside of the server eg checking player profiles, watching submitted vids, speccing and general stuff like hung up servers, skipping glitchy maps etc. then I usually play for 1-2 hours depending on server population so an admin is present in the server as douchebaggery prevention. So mon to sat I'm working 14 hrs then 3 in admin stuff then leaves me 7 hours to eat and sleep shower etc, which is not enough but I ignore that, it's the job I accepted. It's not till sat and sun that I can put bigger hours in.
 
What I'm saying is you may think your being ignored but the case may be that the particular Admin you submitted too may be as pushed for time during the week as I am and is trying to get the ball rolling or has submitted to other admins for viewing and waiting for responses from them. I know it's frustrating but we all go through the same shit. It's just the process brother, it's not a short one as decisions made in haste without proper evidence can end up being wrong and the ruling having to be reversed, and no admin wants that it's kind of embarrassing.

you guys can bash admins all u want personally u guys have no clue wat goes on bhind the scenes we are doing what can to catch ppl hacking...we have to have solid evidence of hacking b4 a ban can take place....think i have mentioned this many times too some....we are workn on it best as we can and what we have to work with....everyone has different interpretation on what hacking looks like ...u guys might see it as hacks and admins not soo much...just sayng

Thanks for getting the video evidence, its the best way to prove someone is hacking or not. There is a little back and forth in the admin section about your video, there are definitely a couple things there that are very fishy but others are explainable. Give us another day to discuss this and we will get you an answer.

To add to his post, accusing us of not doing our job is offensive. Catching hackers isn't always black and white as people seem to think. Admins dont always communicate, but we do the best we can do. We cwnt watch everyone all the time which is why ask players to watch people too. While I can't speak to your video since I haven't seen it, xfire videos tend to be of poor quality so a cheat may not always be obvious. Just because people are accused of hacking doesn't always mean they cheat. Some are just better players. I've had plenty of players ask me to watch videos and I don't see anything. Doesnt mean you should stop watching for hackers . If an admin doesnt agree with your accusation, don't get your panties in a wad. There are plenty of players the admins think are cheating, but we need definitive proof. If you don'agree with an admin's opinion, try another admin. Dont come on here and accuse us of incompetence.

Getting video of people who you suspect are hacking is the right thing to do and we hope that you all continue to do it.
 
BUT, what you are absolutely certain is hacking won't always be clear in the video, or the admin team may not agree with your opinion. Admins can and do make decisions without the approval of the head admins, so don't automatically assume that your video has been shared with the entire admin team for that server.
 
Posting on the forums about how you think the admins should be doing their job won't help matters. Yes, "part" of the admins job is to police the servers for hackers, and another part of our job is to tell people who scream "hacker" every time a player beats them to STFU and be patient. If somebody is hacking we'll eventually get them, regardless if you feel we're doing our job quickly enough or not.  

lol i hop to ur spawn while sprinting while im in spawn protection, i try to HOP away from the Spawn Stuck moment, when one player is afk and stops the rest, i carry m16 so more light than the Machine gunner  
The key is to always use your spawn protection as much as possible, a question that many times pops up also in the game "How the hell did tagger get behind us??" Answer to that is within the killstreaks, RCXD, Predator and Mini Nuke, i carry hardline to get car faster by 2 kills lol i get car but not use it until im one away from missle so i can use car use the 10 seconds spawn protection move up kill one more get the missle and then use the 10 seconds so by then im way behind u guys lol i just gave u my set up so u can see its within the killstreaks and stratgety no SPEEDING hack or anything like that lol
