I've been working on something to see what maps people do and do not like ( http://c4.timpotze.nl/198.27.126.80:28960 ). Do you know who I can contact to get some !like/!dislike stats to update the statistics and build some map rotations out of that data? -

I've got a Synology, it's a bit pricey but you get good value for it. (You have to separately buy hard drives to put in the station) You can download a cloud app for your pc which works a bit like dropbox. It has photo album sharing features, apps for downloading (if your into movies with torrents or NZB), videos, music, cloud station, hosting web pages, a package manager app for installing and downloading additional apps and many more things. It has lots of available apps for Windows, OSX, iOS and Andriod. It also has a desktop-like web page to upload/download/use apps:

Does it run in windowed mode? ( Non-steam: RMB on shortcut to multiplayer, add "+set r_fullscreen 0" (without the quotes) to the end of target... Steam: Library > RMB on cod 4 > properties > set launch options > fill box with "+set r_fullscreen 0" (without the quotes))

cod 4 ace mod map rotation

I just now wondered why the ace mod server is called "Extreme Idiots Ace Mod". Every call of duty server is called "^1>XI< ^3Some Name" and this server doesn't match that pattern. This clan is not even called called Extreme Idiots but Xtreme Idiots so the perfectionist in myself is completely frustrated -

Have you installed one of those little speakers on your mobo? If you do, they can give you useful beep codes to tell you what's wrong. I mean one like this Was useful for me to tell me my graphics card was DOA -

@@Sitting-Duc have you found any documentation/way on how to read data from these files? I found some quake 3 documentation, but apparently the call of duty ones are a bit different. I've also found a tool which can read pretty much all we need, but it's code is a mess and poorly documented ( and written in pascal...) so I still don't understand it very well

I'll look into the details of these demo files this evening and how to read data from it. My vacation has started and I have a couple of free weeks to spend on it.
