I will be looking a new phone in the new year when my current contract runs out but will NOT be looking at anything Apple. A preference thing but I don't like Apple and despise iTunes. I'll be looking at the HTC or Samsung.

What brand of monitor do you have and model of video card? Have you also tried putting the monitor on a different PC if one is available to see if it behaves in the same manner?

I kinda have the same problem. Monitor does not pick up the signal. I just shut the monitor off then turn it back on. I have been living with that for a long time. When do you find you have this problem? Straight from boot up, coming out of hibernation, any time, etc?
