    Well, once the gigabit fiber went in, realized the lone wifi 802.11ac access point needed to be upgraded.  Using a 3 node Linksys Velop (thank you Amazon Prime day!)

    Prime day deal, went for the Linksys Velop (x3), will see if it gets returned. It uses a couple of wifi chips from this Qualsomething company, will see how good the speed is.

    Nice Damage, Figure'd I'd chime in with my similar experience, 2 months ago we went with DirecTV NOW, it's $35/month and came with a free Amazon Fire stick. The fire is fine but the DTV app is garbage on it. Using a couple of AppleTV's now and the streaming is solid, saving about $150/mo.
