Hefe33 reacted to 2_MANY_BEERS in [ APPEAL FORM ] Perma Ban from COD5 WAW FT SERVER
I guess the shit hit the fan when I went outside in my backyard to BBQ, and my senior chief in charge of the website started getting PM's from members about you 2 again. I think he has had enough, and I was told to ban you 2 guys.

Hefe33 got a reaction from Hemps in and here's my new gun!
My nephew's fundraiser for his football team was raffle tickets, and the grand prize was $1000 to a local gun shop... and we won!
so I grabbed that .17 for me and a pink/purple ruger 10-22, I was able to put nice scopes on both of them and buy some ammo... was a VERY nice prize!
the .17 is dead nuts accurate out to 200 yds (thats as far as we have shot it, it's prettty cold here)
and yes, a tiny pellet flying down range at 3000fps is very cool!
not trying to hi-jack Hemp's thread... I do LOVE my Springfield pistol too!
I've had a Springfield P9 (9mm) for years!
has the competition trigger and the magnum porting.. a true "shooters gun"
enjoy that pistol Hemps... the are great quality guns

Hefe33 reacted to HarryWeezer in I quit!
...smoking, a year ago today. I feel better and my health has improved.
I tried various ways to quit for more than 50 years that I smoked. None worked. Here's how I did it.
Starting in the fall of 2014, I stopped habit smoking. That's the cigarette that you don't really crave, but smoke out of habit only - the one you have with your coffee in the morning, the one you smoke after dinner, etc. At the same time, I resolved to not smoke in the car (I never smoked in the house.)
After a month or so, I found that I had cut smoking by about 50 percent. I was only smoking when I had a strong craving to do so. Then, I started to smoke only half the cigarette. I would put it out and leave it for the next time I really had to have one. And when I did, I smoked the other half.
At this point, I had gone from a pack-a-day habit to two packs a week.
After a month or so of that, I started taking only 2 or 3 drags on the cigarette and then butting it, saving it for the next craving.I did this for about four weeks until it was really easy for me to take just a puff on a cigarette, and then put it out.
On Jan. 14, 2015, I butted my last smoke, threw away the pack and all the lighters. I haven't had a smoke since. Slowly weaning myself off smoking worked for me. I hope it does for you too.

Hefe33 got a reaction from deerejon in Our Buck Pole
A few years ago, my brother I and decided we would start a deer pole in the town where I live. there are not any real good ones around.. .. seems like everyone just hal-asses them. So we talked to a buddy of mine about being host and sponsor (some of you know him "WoJoKhan" on the Cod5 Ftag server), you see.. WoJo owns a fairly large Hardware/General store complete with a walk-in Beer cave... so a real MAN store!
seemed like perfect host... so off we went..
we built a pole from wood, and our first year was a success..
fast forward to 2015..
we built a new and better pole from steel (My brother and I are decent fabricators)
the new pole will accommodate 31 deer.. even more if we double up
this years sponsors donated over $4700 in cash and prizes
it was a huge success
here is a pic from the paper in 2012 (our 2nd year)
and here is our 2015 Harvest!!
if you were wondering.. our local high school is the "Reese Rockets" .. therefore the Rocket Deer Pole
there is a facebook page of course
https://www.facebook.com/ReeseDeerPole/
my favorite pic..
also one of my favorite people..
this is my buddy's kid, Daddy drives a pink semi.. so what better way to deliver her deer than with Daddy's pink truck!
she arrived in style
and won about $200 in prizes for being the youngest successful hunter!
Pretty proud of our little deer pole, so I thought I'd share!
