I think you would be good with either the Asus or the LG. I have two LG's that are ten years old and still flawless. I have a 1080p 27" Asus that is 3 years old and still flawless too. Both good products IMO,the Asus is a little bright though.

If you want to get your hands on newest gen vid card might have to get a prebuilt. I bit the bullet and went this route.I always did build my own but could not get a 30 series GPU.
