A PCI 3.0 card can run in a 2.0 slot without any problems. In an older game such as COD4 you will not notice any throttling with the graphics maxed out at 1080p. In some newer games you will notice it if you run at higher than 1080p on medium settings. AMD rx580 8gb is a PCIE 3.0 and a card great card for the money if you have around a 600-650w power supply with atleast a single 4x4 (8 pin) pcie power connector. It might be OK with a 500-550w power supply depending on what CPU you are using. A $270 1070ti is quite a bit faster than the newer $240 Amd 6500 XT, $169-$189 1650ti or $268 1660ti. The AMD RX580 is slightly faster than than the 1070 ti in some games and you can get occasionally find a new one for $140-$170. I was getting around 189-193fps in GTA5 on High Presets and 1080p and a steady 250+fps in COD4 on max settings at 1080p with my AMD RX480 4gb card which is really really good. I bought my RX480 off of Ebay used for $80 (it was used for mining) and it lasted for 3 years but then it started artifacting really bad so I had to get another card. Watch buying any of the cheaper $80-$130 generic brand cards from China. Since the China Crypto Ban in September 2021 there have been a BUNCH of Custom No Name "House Brand" video cards flooding the market. They are Used Mining Cards than the Chinese rebranded and added new custom coolers and V-Bios and packaging and are selling them as new. MAXSUN, ENVINDA, MLLSE, CORN, and 51Risc are a few of the brands to stay away from. Sapphire and MSI cards with the Twin Frozr coolers are really good brands for AMD cards. They are fast and still run very cool. The Asus RX480 and RX580 cards had problems with the fans quitting after a few months. Gigabyte AMD cards were ok depending on which one, some Gigabyte cards liked to overheat in smaller cases. XFX made really good AMD cards but they tend to be a bit more expensive. LOL That Beer truck. Me and my brother would have won with out CO2 cars back when we was in the boy scouts but some assmunch messed with both of our cars. Our cars were both pencil thin and coated with a nice thick coat of Testors enamel model paint (Which soaks into Balsa wood) to keep them from breaking as fast and graphite sleeved wheels. We took out design from the Top Fuel Drag Cars. We wanted to add a balsa wood spoiler but that was not allowed. We did not have alot of money but we were both very smart kids for our age. When a CO2 car goes down the track with it's front wheels in the air you know that something is wrong. When they gave us our cars back, both rear wheels were bent outward like someone purposely pushed down on the rear of our cars. The rear wheels were rubbing the body on both of them. The winner was some big fat kid that happened to be the scoutmasters nephew with a generic Wedge shaped car painted up to look like a Frog. Shortly after that me and my brother quit going because it was quite obvious that the Smart kids like me and my brother and a few others were purposely being singled out.

The Dickhead is not getting charged but the guy that shot the Dickhead is getting charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and discharging a firearm within a building. Aggravated malicious wounding is 20 to life in prison in Virginia. His attorney is a public defender. Most likely he will get railroaded unless Dickhead refuses to press charges.

Upgrade to Win 10 it is free. Make sure that you back up Everything that you want to keep onto another HDD or USB thumb drive. Upgrading always deletes alot of stuff. I lost over 50gb of Midget Porn when I upgraded to Win 11. I would choose the Upgrade because it will Automatically use the Win 7 key that is saved on your PC to install Win 10. You can do a fresh install of Win 10 at any time after doing the upgrade because it saves your Key in the MS Cloud servers when you upgrade to Win 10. To Create Installation Media to do a Fresh install? Pop an empty 8 GB or larger USB thumb drive in and run the Win 10 Media Creation Tool and tell it to create the installation media on the USB thumb drive. There are a couple of ways to get around needing of a TPM 2.0 module and the PC needing to be in Secure Boot mode to install Windows 11 on an older PC but it is a pain in the ass.

@MtDeW If I had $2400 I sure as heck wouldn't have bought all of my current PC components used or refurbished. lol And I would have a monitor that isn't 10 years old. I have around $670 in my PC and 1/2 of that was the video card. Ryzen 7 3700x (was new but listed as open box), Refurbished MSI x470 Gaming Plus Max motherboard, new 16gb DDR4 3600 G-Skill Trident Z Neo (was on sale), 1tb Intel 665P NVME SSD I bought "slightly used" off of facebook marketplace for $35 used Nvidia RTX 2070 founders edition (thanks again @BUDMAN ) My Brother gave me the case for Christmas 8 years ago. It's a decent case but it is horrible for cable management. Power supply I bought when CompUSA had the big closing sale 11 or 12 years ago? It's an old Corsair HX650W. Really Good power supply for the time but I should be running a at-least a 750w. And it only has 1 4x4 CPU power connector. Luckily this motherboard runs just fine without anything plugged into the 2nd 4x4 CPU power connector if you do not overclock. I learned a hard lesson a long time ago that you DO NOT cheap out and buy cheaper power supplys. The capacitors in them tend to blow up after a while and you will have stability issues with a cheap power supply. I do need to find a new decent 750w-850w power supply and a better monitor. My monitor is a 1st generation 27" LED Samsung SyncMaster 1080p 60hz Business Class monitor that has absolutely Horrible response time. When I tested it with an online Monitor Response Time test it was rite at 18ms which is just as bad as most cheap flat screen TVs are now a days. I actually bought it as a yard sale for $20 new in the box about 4 years ago. One of my neighbors had it sitting in a closet for 6 years lol.

Uninstall G-Hub and use the windows drivers? lol I have had problems with the G-Hub program since the day it was released. I am pretty sure that is has something to do with the On-Screen Overlay that is built into G-Hub. Windows 10 dose not like Overlays. After a few months of upgrading windows OS, I always have to reinstall because stuff just randomly quits working. I did a fresh install of Win 11 a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be working very well. Haven't had a single program crash due to compatibility issues. Win 10 had really bad compatibility with certain programs and G-Hub was 1 of those. The LGS (Logitech Gaming Software) is slightly better if you want to try that instead. I'm very glad that you are back and will be ok. My dad had an emergency stent put in and then was sent to a specialist for bypass surgery years ago and his ticker has been doing good. Take it really easy for atleast a few weeks. If you start feeling tired you have overworked yourself. Keep yourself well hydrated. Stay away from the beer and caffeine because they do cause dehydration and caffeine is not good for your ticker. 1 cup of coffee in the morning is ok but I would not drink more than that. You need a beverage that has plenty of electrolytes. Gatorade and other sports type drinks that have electrolytes taste like ass but they will keep you hydrated. Back when I was doing road work for the state and when I was working for the State Park they used to hand out Salt Tablets because eating Salt kept you from dehydrating nearly as fast. Then the doctors say that taking to much salt is very bad for your health? lol Gatorade only came in Lemon Lime and Orange flavors until around 1995. They were disgustingly bitter and about the only place you could buy it was at a Fitness Center. I absolutely hate something that tastes like that nasty Pink Lemonade that my grandma used to make for me when I would stay over at her place. She did not put nearly enough sugar it in. That crap was so bitter that you I wanted to run back outside and shove the garden hose in my mouth. I didn't want to tell her how absolutely horrible it was, because that is just something that you did not do. lol And I didn't want to hurt her feelings by telling her how HORRIBLE that crap was.

It will do that if you Play multiplayer in windowed mode. It will also do that if you do not have a Mic connected or you are using a USB Mic and it disconnects. Since you are crashing mid game I would suspect that your Mic is the problem. If you have a USB Mic try plugging it into one of the USB ports on the back side of the PC. Same thing goes for a normal audio jack Mic. The rear facing USB ports and Audio ports are typically set to Higher Priority since they are hard wired directly on to the motherboard. If you all ready have it plugged into the back? Log into the game and Wiggle the wire. If it crashes or disconnects you from the game then You probibly have a broken wire in the cord.
