  1. 7000 series Ryzen chips run HOT. With a good 360mm AIO water cooler they can easily get up to 95C under load. Intels 13900k will run very hot as well. Intel just released info on there 13000 series chips the other day. Release date is October 20th. 5000 series Ryzen chip prices are steadily dropping allready. Good time to upgrade to the 5000 series chips if you are running a 1000,2000 or 3000 series Ryzen chip. I'll have to look up my MSI x470 gaming plus max motherboard and see if it fully supports 5000 series chips. If it does I'm most likely going to upgrade my 3700x to a 5800x or a 5800X3D. The 5800x is allready down to around $250 and it should go lower. And the Ryzen chips are now officially available from Bestbuy if anyone wants one.The 7950X is sold out allready lol. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?_dyncharset=UTF-8&browsedCategory=abcat0507010&id=pcat17071&iht=n&ks=960&list=y&qp=processorsocketsv_facet%3DProcessor Socket~Socket AM5&sc=Global&st=categoryid%24abcat0507010&type=page&usc=All Categories
  2. Just seen that Ron DeSantis is ordering mandatory evacuations for many coastal cities due to the massive storm surge. It's moving slow but picking up gusto as it makes landfall.
  3. Comcast throttles the living crap out of our upload speed. 947.22mbps down 41.94mbps upload. Upload latency is double what the download latency is as well. Comcast is the Devil but it's the only thing we have in our area except for that slow ass phone line DSL and CenturyLink which only offers a 20mbps connection.
  4. New 7000 series AMD chips absolutely destroy a $1000++ Binned intel 12900ks in Cinebench R23. The crazy thing is that this was with "Off The Shelf" motherboard and CPU and Memory and it was an All Core overclock. Even a Binned intel 12900ks on a Binned motherboard can not run stable with an All Core overclock without disabling the E cores (Efficient-cores).
  5. LMAO!!!! Who was it that started calling you Bud Light? Was it that goofy @Giggles? I forget lol.
  6. there's 1 of my favorite idiots. Kinda crazy and scary looking though. lol
  7. And 13 years later STILL a HUUUUUGE Pain in the Ass. lol Server 2 and especially when the late night crew was on, soooooooo much fun. lol
  8. Ya I would wait for at-least a couple of weeks or better yet until Black Friday which is November 25. October 12th is the release date for the new Nvidia 4000 series video cards. AMD ryzen 7000 series CPUs are due to be released here in just a couple of days. Prices on alot of the CPUs and GPUs will be down significantly by Black Friday. Can't believe your kicking our asses with an HP. HAX lol.
  9. Get a decent CPU cooler. This is the best air cooler that you can get but it is quite large. https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NH-D15-chromax-Black-Dual-Tower-Cooler/dp/B07Y87YHRH/ref=asc_df_B07Y87YHRH/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=416652333997&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=611416595840285694&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9006085&hvtargid=pla-825992388602&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=100759324064&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=416652333997&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=611416595840285694&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9006085&hvtargid=pla-825992388602
  10. Just played the free demo. Might have to buy this one. It's addicting and alot of fun to play. https://store.steampowered.com/app/523660/HYPERCHARGE_Unboxed/
  11. Between 1844 and 1846. It is on our local Historic Registry. Can't put an exact year on it because 1/2 of the house was built as a 2 room Bakery with flat roof and then moved back away from the 1 lane dirt road approximately 12 feet on top of a stone foundation with 1/2 of it being dug out as a basement/root cellar. And then the upstairs 1/2 floor was added with 2 bedrooms. In the early 1900s it was added onto twice which gave it 4 bedrooms upstairs, a large living room and the existing Kitchen and shop with the big picture'/showcase window. It's a 1 1/2 story house. Ceiling height upstairs is only 6' 2". Pretty neat old house but it's a pain in the ass to upgrade because every wall is load bearing. Being an old Timber frame house makes it virtually impossible to run electric and plumbing inside of the walls without gutting it. Being on the Register kinda sucks as well. We are not allowed to modify most of the structure. We had to get permission from those boneheads just to put a modern style metal roof on it. But we did get some money back for preserving a historic building.
  12. Raining solid the last 2 days here. And we have been getting thunder showers every 3-4 days. Temps have been in the mid 80s to mid 90s. Temps are ok but humidity has been over 90%. When the sun pops up it feels like a damn Rain forest. Go outside and loose 20lbs of water in 20 minutes. @Sammy Cali is fucked. Move now before it turns into the next desert and falls into the ocean. Hell it's surrounded by 3 deserts on 1 side and the ocean on the other. Sounds some sort of sick twisted punishment to have to live in such a place lol.
  13. Go get yourself a decent CPU cooler. Those stock AMD ARGB coolers are pretty damn noisy when the fan ramps up. It's by far the loudest fan in my PC. And they are pretty damn hard to get clean without taking them off and taking them apart. These are really good air coolers but they are HUGE. This one includes the white covers as well. https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NH-D15-chromax-Black-chromax-White-Heatsink/dp/B09GYM2BP7 I want your case. Is that the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic? I liked my Corsair Carbide 500R when I built it 10 years ago but it's severely outdated for modern hardware. You can technically put a 240mm AIO cooler in it but the radiator mounts above the motherboard and you are very limited with radiator thickness and fan thickness. Can not do a Push Pull fan configuration without taking the top mesh off and mount the radiator outside of the case. It has a shit ton of drive bays for a Mid Tower case. 4 x 5.25in bays and 12x 3.5in/2.5in Combo bays with room for another 6x 3.5in/2.5in Combo bay. Would be a good case to stack a bunch of HDDs in but not a great case for a Gaming PC that needs space for a decent sized AIO or a large tower style cooler. I do like the 200mm fan on the side of it. It gets plenty of air flow and it runs slow enough to be dead silent. It does suck in LOTS of dust that I have to clean out every couple of weeks. I live in an old house that was built in the mid 1840s so you can imagine that it is pretty drafty and dusty. I want your case and this cooler but I'm to broke and to much of a cheap ass to save up for them. https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-H150i-Capellix-Liquid-Cooler/dp/B08Q86DSTX?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1
  14. Kraft sucks and never tried Duke's. I'm going to go with Miracle Whip because it's what I usually end up grabbing. Small towns don't have a very big selection of options.
  15. with my air fryer skills they would probibly shrivel up or pop like popcorn lol
  16. 2AM snack lol. I had 1 smaller one in the fridge that needed eaten. Mayo and tomato sammich and potato salad. OMG are they sweet and meaty and juicy. You know they are good when your mouth waters like crazy when your eating them.
  17. Tomatoes are all gone for now lol. My brother and his old lady and 2 kids was out today and I sent a bunch with him. Ate a bunch of fresh Sweet Corn today and grill cooked burgers today. I'll snap a pic or 2 of the gardens. Peppers are doing Awesome. Only planted 4 green pepper plants but they got big and each one had over a dozen nice big stuffing peppers on which I put in the freezer allready. Still has a bunch on but they are not quite ready. stuffed peppers. I just make a simple cornball (Rice and burger balls with a few spices) and smother them with tomato sauce. Corn is a bit late but looks good. Quite a few ears on. Most of them have 3 decent sized ears. Accidentally planted some Hot pepper plants. They were supposed to be sweet peppers like the ones they have at Subway (love those things I get extra sweet peppers on my roast beef subs) but these are hot as hell. Can't stand eating hot peppers. Used to eat them when I was younger but not any more. I are the tip off of 1 and had to run in and grab the milk which Barely helped. Ya FOOOOK That. lol
  18. You can come and cut, split and stack our wood if you need the practice. lol Wood heat is alot of work and a pain in the fucking ass having to cut, split, stack then move it and restack. And it likes to go out early in the mornings especially when you are trying to sleep in. We burn wood as our primary heat in the winter. Anywhere between 8 and 12 cord of wood per year depending on how cold and long the winter is.
  19. Pretty low yield this year. My plants are Huge and have more leaves than they ever did. Next year I'm going to prune them quite a bit. Something is going on with the Honey Bee population. There were some this year but not nearly as many as I usually see. The Stink Bug population is a problem. I never spray my stuff but I'm going to have to start next year. Some small solid Grey and a bunch of Black and Red spotted stink bugs stung all of my cucumbers and zucchini plants. They are not Lantern flies. Those things are not in our area YET but they are coming. The apples look pretty darn small in Orchard up above us. There are lots of them on but they are 1/2 the size they were last year. Last year I was picking Banana Apples the size of my whole hand. This year they are just slightly larger than my Palm. My beef steaks are all solid meat with a small ring of seeds near the skin. Super super juicy and delicious. I just ate a big tomato and mayo sammich. Seriously I could eat fresh garden grown tomatoes until I explode. I bought some California Beefsteak tomatoes from the store 4 years ago and got a bunch of the seeds to grow. That's what I'm growing. I've been harvesting seeds from a couple tomatoes and letting them dry out in paper towels. Bag them up and toss them in my seed bucket and toss the bucket in the closet. It stays dry and cool all year in the closet under the basement steps. That's where I keep my big crate of Potatoes and they last 10 months before they start going soft. As soon as they start going soft I cut them in half and plant them. Potato yield is going to be really good this year. I dug a test hole at the corner of the potato patch and it is absolutely loaded. Definitely going to have to give a bunch to the neighbors lol.
  20. No problem. It does help quite a bit especially if you have a higher ping to begin with.
