I had to quit playing DayZ because I was playing it way way way to much. At one point I was playing it for 100 hours a week. DayZ and Rust are similarly addictive and time consuming.

played that stupid game for hours on end back in the day. never did finish the damned thing. Last thing I remember about it is, I got lost and then got stuck somewhere behind a locked door deep in a bunker and never played it again since. I got hooked playing Starcraft after that for a while lol.

You could try typing /cl_connectionAttempts <whatever number you want> in the ~ console. 30 connection attempts will look like this. It stops the server timing out thing when it reaches 10 attempts. You can tell it to try as many times as you want it to. It could Un-Fuck it's self if ya give it more time.
