I'm running a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB White. Absolutely love it. I got mine in white because dust particles are not that visible on white. It doesn't cool as good a 240mm AIO liquid cooler but it's pretty damned close to the same as my old Corsair H100i before the pump failed. You don't have to constantly worry about the pump failing or springing a leak on an air cooler.
Water cooling is not necessary with the advancements in air cooler designs over the last few years unless you are running an i9 12900k,13900k or 14900k. Then you are going to need a LARGE AIO cooler or custom water cooling setup to keep your CPU temp under 100c. They run really hot.
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE is literally the best air cooler that you can get for under $100. It cools just 0.5c less then the huge 160mm Noctua NH-D15 with a Intel 13900k running at 253 watts. Less than a hand full of air coolers on the market are capable of keeping a 13900k under 100c, under load. Noctua NH-D15 list price is $119 but you can find them for $99-$110, But it does not fit in most cases. They are Huge. Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE is $33-$37 on amazon depending on which one you get.
