I honoustly don't see anything wrong with this, in fact....I embrace it. I must admit, I barely ever brake any rule and some may consider me a boring focker (proud of it), but why would you want a car that can drive 200+ km/h when there is literally no place in the world where it is allowed to go that fast (except for racing circuits)? All the rule does is preventing people from trying to be a "bad ass", show off, 'be in a hurry' and drive fast on a regular road, endangering other peoples' lifes.
The 'I want to take my own decision' arguement that some people present, is totally way out of line, becasue the last decades showed that the vast majority cannot comply with this rule. For instance, every minute there are four people being caught speeding, in the UK alone. Around 1.25 million people die every year due to traffic accidents and 20-30% of all traffic accidents worldwide are due to speeding.
If I were a 'I want to be able to make my own decision' kinda guy in this matter, I would be happy to be overruled by these statistics.
