Timmah! got a reaction from GhostfaceJim in Bend Over
Turns out that the check engine light came on after replacing the gasket, so I went to AutoZone & had them do a free diagnostic & printout.
Went online & found a replacement VTEC solenoid made by Hitachi just like the Honda part, but for $80 instead of $400.
And yeah, I did a mild sanding of the mating surface to smooth & remove debris before installing the new part.

Have a 1 year-old Vtech solenoid, the gasket was leaking oil.
The gasket cost $9.00 after taxes.
It took me under 30 minutes to replace that gasket.
There was nothing wrong with the solenoid.
Honda dealership wanted to sell me a new Solenoid for $400, then charge me $330 labor.

Just out right thivery when that happeneds, Tim should check the spool moves freely for sometimes the casing warps or dirty spool area making it stick.
also surface the mating surface sand it flat on marble/glass with give better sealing presure on the 0-ring.
make a mark on it so you know if are getting back same part, will fix them from screwing you, take before and after pictures needed with newspaper date in pic a day before going garage.
funny you see on UTube they always look at the part carefuly looking for your mark.

to inform you that my wife of almost 32 years passed away on April 22nd after our long battle with lung cancer. She was laid to rest this past Saturday, April 26th. She was originally diagnosed in 2017, and in August that year had her right lung's upper lobe removed. She was good after that surgery for over four years, and in fact returned to work for a time and attended two XI Fest - the one in Niagara Falls, five or six weeks after her surgery in 2017 and the Fest in South Carolina in 2019. In 2019, Wildthing even arranged a birthday cake for her and we celebrated, since the S. C. Fest was during her birthday weekend! She also attended the Gatlinburg Fest in 2016 (her favorite one, though she loved them all)! She loved to travel, so always on board for the Fest. But ultimately, the Chemo and Radiation was not working, and you can take only so much of both. We knew it was coming, and she was on full time oxygen and on a lot of pain medications and last six months, but her passing has been difficult nonetheless. Our two sons are still at home with me, so we are staying busy and are adjusting to living without our lady in the house. 😢

But either way I will carry on regardless and hopefully be back in game real soon.

Mandinghino, thank you so much for facilitating this process and showing your true colors. After taking the time to insult all of our CoD4 team admins on individual private messages, you have earned your permanent ban. You took your last chance and used it very wisely.
@Ruggerxi @ROCKAPE Can you ban this player from the Website and the rest of our servers, please? Ty in advance.

Right on. I used a ThermoPro dual probe to calibrate the oven & monitor the internal temperature.
Glad you liked the photos.
It did turn out nicely & tasted sufficiently good, although it'd been even nicer if part of its journey would've included a smoker.
Was just curious how long it takes without a crutch vs cooking the whole time wrapped.

No more accidentally throwing an emp into someone's ass when I'm intending to shank them!!
As an added bonus, no need to move my fingers from the directional keys or mouse.
