Should have no problem setting cl_maxpackets to 125 in the console. The max allowed is 125, and it should tell you the range when you try and change it. However that much is overkill anyway. 100 should be fine. I dont know if previous patches (1.6 and earlier) limited it to 100 but all the cod4 servers here are 1.7 anyway.

Cant say I know this guy, not being well versed in UK comedians. However here in America left and right wing town councils both have a tendency to go after various entertainment acts that upset their delicate sensibilities. Usually to please their respective bases and get reelected.

Its not broken. It was made that way due to complaints about the marty aspect of it. Also because otherwise it negated the very idea of a 'sticky' grenade (both for the owner and an enemy throwback). If anything, that part was broken. Semtex in those games that had it did not allow for pickups. So it was also an attempt at consistency. For disclosure... I enjoyed doing it myself now and then if I was cornered. Really funny but not fair either.

Its a game from 2007 and shit like this will happen. Wouldnt surprise me if it simply cannot reliably keep up with the ultra fast downloads of today. But yes, just type /reconnect in the console and usually it takes care of the issue.

I dont care who you are. Thats funny right there. Its kind of like T-shirts with pictures or writing on them. The goal is for people to read what is on the shirt. Epic has Borderlands 3 for free right now via their Epic Games account. Havent played anything in that series so I will give it a try.
