Theoretically, you should just be able to post the link, like you did in your first attempt. This one, the iframe version, isn't recognized by the forum software because it contains html which the board doesn't allow. I've noticed that some video links backfire and just end up as clickable links instead of an embedded video. Might be certain characters in the link that trip the board up. Not sure, but I doubt there's much you can do about it. Paste a link and hope for the best. eighty/20 rule applies, I guess.

That said, I have an i7-950 overclocked to 4.2GHz, on an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard and 12GB of RAM that I built around the same time as you that's still kicking serious ass today. I've added hard drives; had one fail, too. I've moved my GPU from a 285 to a 560Ti to a 660Ti. Other than that, though, I still love this thing! I fly X-Plane at some pretty extreme settings on it and it looks amazing.

If that i5 doesn't do any more than "turboboost," get a different one, or a different MoBo. You want full OC'ing ability. Most i5 and i7 chips will make at least 4GHz without breaking a major sweat. Need proper cooling, though, which you don't have. Which brings me to... Crap cooler. Never a stock cooler if you want to OC. Get something like a CORSAIR Hydro Series H80. What's the timing specs on that memory? Can't evaluate system performance without knowing the memory timing. 8GB is fine, though. More is better, of course. Insufficient power supply. 750W is absolute minimum. Over 1000W for that CPU and GPU is overkill. I run an i7-950 OC to 4.2GHz and a 660Ti with a 750W without problems, but if I started having problems, the PS is the first replacement I will make. recommend 2ea WD 2TB Black drives or at least 2ea. WD 1TB Black drives. One for the sole purpose of backup and system image. Don't skimp here. Yes on Win8 64bit. (Not Win8 RT, of course, because that's not "real" windows. Don't get burned; know the difference.) Who's building this thing? You? Who spec'ed it? Rock on! .

What's your power supply wattage? Video card crashes are usually a) driver, over temp, or c) Insufficient power. Could be a combination of more than one. If you're monitoring your GPU temp (http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html) and it's not extreme, and you're at the latest STABLE nvidia driver release (http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx), then consider upgrading your power supply. I have a 750W on my system and it seems to be powering my 660Ti just fine. It's even an overclocked edition from MSI. But I wouldn't go a watt below 750.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a street sweeper driver. To this day, I still stop and watch them come and go down the street. Slightly different than the way life turned out for me. Although I think a street sweeper driver's job may have resulted in better job security than where I ended up.
