nope, Windows 11. I was playing it 2 days ago, been getting kicked occasionally , something about no save game space. then yesterday steam library had disappeared from my c-drive, so i repaired it. still didn't work, so i changed my usb head set into another port, no joy. Next i moved CoD4 into my d-drive steam folder. Still no joy. The stupid thing is i can Start a server, or play single player, but it insta crashes trying to join a game.
Update. its reverted to version 1.8, how, i have no idea. i tried dling the patches from the website, but apparently i have the digital version, so it won't work????

Hi there, i turned my comp on today and cod was not working. found out my steam library was gone, so i repaired that and still CoD4 would play on single player, or i could start a server on multiplayer, but insta crashes as i try to join a game. 
i tried deleting the iw3mp, and downloading a new one, same problem. I also changed ports on my headphones. 
Any ideas anyone?

i'd never even heard of it, i never use the consol at all, and play as normal setting 125, and as most know, you'll see me normally frozen in mid jump due to a 13 yr old pc
 

Hi peeps. I often(very often) lose ethernet connection on my pc. To combat it, i bought a second ethenet card, and a usb to ethernet connection. And i have a usb to wifi, but the wifi is dodgy, had to move the table directly over the router downstairs. 
Now quite often i can't get ethernet, so i switch between the three, sometimes it comes on, most it doesn't,  but i always have wifi.
Does that mean the landlord is controlling what i can connect to?

You have all seen me lately standing still, sometimes in mid air  whilst my poor oooold pc gets over what ever kind of fit its having. Anyways, its been doing that in CoD4, in PGA21, and Diablo 2 LoD, which is a game from 2000. Why?? No idea, and i've been close to hurling the pc out of the window and me after it.
But!!!  I having thought of Diablo 2 LoD as my 2nd fave game of all time, Frontier Elite 2 as the best, blizzard have brought out Diablo 2 LoD remastered. With awesome graphics. I am on lvl 19 now, so a few days of game play around tennis, and NOT once has my comp lagged. How does that work? Is it a graphics resolution issue then?
I will be back on CoD4 in a few days, but CRAP.... i need to play more Diablo first.

I've had a few packages stolen, but if i'm totally honest its my own damn fault, as i'm basically gifting them to you by dying in your spawn, which is where i am mostly. i refuse to stay in my spawn, unless i'm defrosting some lazy ass who won't come out

Hi peeps. I have a fully modular power supply it is an XFX pro 1050W. It has sadly had a lot of issues, due to corona virus...
You may LAUGH, but at the start of the lock downs, the power company and the water works have been dropping almost daily in some weeks.  Obviously my poor unit has had a breakdown,  and I've had to gently start it like catching a clutch on a car. 
I bought a new one, called a gigabyte P850GM, but i have a cable of 12 slots to fit,  I'm not positive but that's my gpu??? Anyway, this bloody thing only has a 10 slot hole, and every one i look at online has the same.  Please can someone advise me? 
I've never had the problem of being to big before 😅
