This is the best version of this song I have ever heard. Recorded in 1970, it so clean I can not believe my ear bones.
I have to laugh at these conversations about who is the "best" or even a better guitarist or any player or band. At the level all these guys have reached, there is no best, it's like arguing about ice cream flavors, they are all very tasty, but you can only declare your favorite, not the best. Just like I like most of the music of the times I was growing up with and also artists songs were only allowed to be about 3 min. long max,that is until the Beatles came onto the scene and that brought what they called the British Invasion and boy did the music ever change around here in North America.Some real great stuff.

Jimmy H was a innovator on the guitar. Love his music but he was also a bit sloppy. Sorry. But if you really listen to him and then hear some one like Stevie ray vaughn play his music you will hear a huge difference. One that is way under rated ( and I hate to even bring him in to this ) is John Mayer. He can play all styles of guitar. Not the best but highly highly regarded as being very good by other guitarists. Was shocked when I actually heard him play. He had different segments in the show that highlighted all the different styles. Actually worth seeing

Was watching some old concerts on AXs TV. First was a Led Zeppelin concert followed by AC/DC. I have always liked AC/DC. Especially the Bon Scott years. But after watching and hearing Led Zeppelin AC/DC didn't even come close. The power and feel of Pages Guitar just flat out blew Angus away. Was really surprising and could only be noticed when you watch the two that close together.
A fun video to watch is " It Might Get Loud". It's a interview with Jimmy Page , The Edge from U2 and Jack White. It's interesting hearing them discuss playing the guitar and styles. At one point all three of them are standing in a circle playing a Zeppelin song. Jimmy is totally relaxed and the other two are working hard to keep up with him, and he is the old man of them.

When I come to play here, I come to have fun, realizing that no matter what you do, or where you go, there will be a few asshole's there. Grown men and ladys who act like some kinda whinny little rich kid thats not getting there way. I learned along time ago not to let these pea-brained ass wipes regulate whether I was going to have a good time or not, so I suggest you just Ignore them, It works for me!

Chili, this is the kind of thing that you can't be taught, or learn. There are alot of names for it, courtesy, ethics, and manners and its just "in you". Your a very good guy, most people don't stop a think about how sick it would make them feel if THEY lost that same amount of $. Some way, "karma" will pay you back!!!!!!!
I had a high opinion of you before this, but it just went UP!!!!
