Shamu if you see the fan running on your cpu just leave it be. The dust would only collect around the fan and on the cooling fins so you would see it. Everything under the fan is flush mount. So after pulling off the sides to see if it was temp related you proved it was. The next step is finding out what is over heating. I would make a general statement here saying in order from the most common overheating device to the least is video card CPU Motherboard Power Supply RAM The formentioned programs will help you out very much in diagnosing which device is heating up. That does not mean its going bad. The other thing these programs do is allow you to set your fan speed. Now it is very possible that your fans have been set to quiet mode instead of performance mode. Here's a link to the nividia system tools http://www.nvidia.com/object/nvidia-system-tools-6.08-driver.html it does drop the graphic into the tool bar but all you have to do is double click it and it goes right onto your desktop. Keep an eye on the temps it will tell you which ones heating up. I know its alot but its the way to tell whats going on. Good luck let us know what you find out K

Sounds more like one of your MS updates keeps rebooting your system. Here's a link to check when you last updated and see if it coincides with the begining of your problem. HERE I forget how to delete them and reload them one of our more MS people can help you I'm sure. Good luck

Well I'm there from time to time still learning it. But it does take time to get people who's computer can handle the game. As far as game type have no idea I go where ever an XI server is.

I have to say Itunes does do everything. Including if you set your library to ramdon play it has a bigger more ramdonplay option. I hate the ^*%*^ program Use to use Zune so sweet now its gone . I just went in and tried it out. Worked ok for me . Asked the players in the server if any of them had an issue getting on and they said no. So I have to ask if you remember what map it happened on ? If you could keep track of the map that gives you th eproblems and klet us know we would have a better chance at fixing it for you.

I would not be so fast as to toss stuff out the door before you find out the problem. Do you have another video card to test out your computer with ? There are alot of things that can shut down a computer in game. Start by playing with the case cover off and have a look to see if its dirty in there look between the cooling fins on the video card and prossesor. Push your ram down into the MB to make sure there not loose and out of there sockets. This is all real easy to do its just a look see . Try that stuff out .

You could have a piece of dust or dirt somewhere on the laser lens ?. If your using a mouse pad try a different one. If you could test it out on a different computer it would eliminate the option of bad drivers as well as seeing if its a hardware issue too (bad Mouse). Try a different usb port hmmm running out of ideas for you.

I think mt fillzilla is broken is what I think. But with out looking at file size . If all he did was fix a map and then remane it it could cause problems. Guess nobody told the person who made the map he did not have to rename it. I'd pull the old version though.

Ok its been all fixed up and should download the same from the redirect as in the server now. You can either delete it and go for a fresh copy or let the server handle the download (does not always do what its suppose to do) Mr. Beers and I are going through the files one at a time looking for these problems its hard on the eyes and I have to say I did the MW server yesterday and did not see that difference mp_mohdv2.iwd 383,329 mp_mohdv2.iwd 383,321 Let us know if it doesn't work

Do not touch your gpu or cpu when its running or just turned off it will burn you they do run hot and thats ok.

Well if I was to guess you got a bad PS from the get go.I hope its still under waranty seeing as its under a year old.

If you squint or sqrush you eyes together they do get closer. Look for a new mouse driver if you have a non standard mouse like a razor or logitech. I think its a bad driver or a needed patch
