Phantogram: Not heard a new good band in years...
MikeB replied to hxtr's topic in General Discussion
I agree good band. Been listening to them since they came out. You might want to check out "Dead Sara" another good band. I feel the music industry has gone to shit. Everyhthing on the radio is so fuckin generic and boring.. You have to dig deep to find good stuff. I really have found alot of new bands on "Spotify". You might check it out. Here is a link to a "Dead Sara" video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5vr_Vhoumc Enjoy -
I did some testing on the other dm (MW) server. I unlocked my fps and ran around 400 to 600 fps. I played at that setting for awhile. I then capped my fps to 125 and it ran fine there too. Full Motion Video is an average of 24 to 30 fps. So anything above that is overkill as far as gameplay being smooth. In my testing I actually found 125 fps to be quite smooth and didnt effect my ability to kill or be killed what so ever. And on the plus side my GPU fan slowed down !! My video card is not working as hard. Even on the server in question, capped at 85 it played fine for me too. I know Ramistar has issues at 85, so why not cap it at 200 fps. Dont lock it at 200, just set the range from 1 - 200 and see what happens or just put it back to unlocked. Higher fps dont give one an advantage in my experience. Its CPU, Memory and network settings and getting rid of background apps that effect gameplay the most. Streamline your PC !!! Well actually how good a player you are effects shit too.

I notice CI's happen alot when high ping players are in or during the time they are entering. Lets not confuse CI's with lag or jerky game play. Is it "Connection Interrupts", you are experiencing ? I just upgraded my old quad core AMD to an eight core and new motherboard and started experiencing alot of jerky game play. I had to go in and change my maxfps to 0 (zero), it was at 200 which worked great on the old cpu/motherboard combo. At 0 it cleared up. MaxPackets is another setting which can cause issues with CI's. If you do a goole search on CODWAW TWEAKS, you will find alot of things to help and or try.

Rides I rode at Kings Island amusement park
MikeB replied to CobraBites's topic in General Discussion
Outside Urbana (just above Springfield). I was in Middletown Tuesday. I take my Nissan Z to Rameys Z to get worked on. I put wider tires on the back and had to roll the fenders for clearence. Takes me about an hour and 15 minutes to get there. We hit Traders World and Turtle Creek alot too. The Son of Beast was a great smooth wooden coaster. The Racers beat the shit out of you. Didnt some one fall from the Son of Beast ? Wasnt that the reason for taking it down ? Cant remember. -

Have not been there this year... Usually hit there and Cedar Point each summer. Cedar Point has a new ride, so I definately will get there. Being born and raised in Ohio, its nice to have two of the greatest parks close by !!! I was there for the Evel Knievel jump in 75. What a crazy packed day that was. I was 13 !! -
Be sure if possible to try it out before buying a Les Paul.. They are very hit or miss with quality. Not ragging on Gibson, but Ive learned with the many Gibson purchases made over the years that quality varies. They are making guitars out of the wood the fbi took in the raids. The government gave the wood back and Gibson are making some very collectable guitars out of it. They are called the "Government Series". Great investment these guitars will be.

I can relate to the numbness. Ive been dealing with it for years and there isnt much of anything that will help with that. Keep us posted on results.

The time standing still or slowing down is normal. Food does taiste alot better But the munchie thing will pass or fade with usage. The pain reduction is fantastic, not to mention the other health benefits. A vaporizer would be a great investment and or a book on cooking. Better results than with smoking and healthier. Google "Silver Surfer Vaporizer" .,, They can be had on ebay cheaper than stores and double as scented wax burners when done. They are the easiest to use and look like an art piece. If your currently taking regular meds you may find that you can reduce the dosage and or use all together. But with time you will feel alot better. Keep your Dr. in the loop too. Is it helping with your hands ???

Challenger all the way. I personally dont care for the new Camaro. Doesnt hit that "Retro" look in any way. I feel Chevy dropped the ball on that one. An option is to drop a Hemi into your Charger. I can hook you up with the premier US Chrysler engine tech if your willing to drive to Ohio. He has old Hemi blocks and new ones in stock. He could drop one in for you !!!

Nice car !!!! I wouldnt mind building a 1970 Nova or a 72 split bumper Camaro. Those two are my favorites. My older brother had a 72 Camaro with a factory installed LT1 and a Doug Nash 4 speed, 411 rear when I was 16. Naturally we installed headers, aluminum high rise manifold and a holley 850 double pumper and "Cherry Bombs !!!! I liked those over Thrush exhaust. I got to drive it to school a few times. That is when ever he wanted to ride my Honda to work. -

Speed limits here where Im at are 55mph, 65mph and 70mph (highway speed limits) depending on the highway. But that doesnt mean you cant blow the carbon out every now and then. My old white Nissan Twin Turbo Z I hit 168mph it it and it was still pulling. This new red one I have hit 120mph, but until I get new back tires, I wont go any faster. When I bought the car it had two new Yokohama S-Drives on the front (speed rating of Y), but the backs are older (not "Y" rated) and have little tread left. Ordered two new Yokohama S-Drives for the back on Monday and they should be here tomorrow. And that means I get to "Smoke" the old ones !!!! -

Yeah the Datsun Fairlady 1500 is a rare bird for sure. The Z's picked up the Fairlady legacy and they make "Fairlady Z" decals that fit under the back wing where the Nissan logo fits. There is a couple Fairlady 2000's on ebay right now. One is in California with a $12,000 "Buy It Now" price tag. -

Thanks. For a 23 year old car its really clean inside and out. The engine bay is just as clean as the outside. I picked it up late last year. Im the 3rd owner and its always been garaged and covered. I wasnt really looking to buy another car, but I once I saw the shape this one was in and the price, I couldnt pass it up. -

Thanks. This is the 4th Z I have owned and I plan on keeping this one. I sold my White 91 Twin Turbo a few years back and regretted it ever since, so my wife said I have to keep this one. One of my daughters drives a 1990 Z which we bought for her when she started driving. Fun cars to drive. -

My cousins ex husband lives in Texas and he has a built Miata that he track races. I think he is or was the president of the Texas Spokes Sportscar Club. But Id like to pick one up for a project race car. Alot of things you can do to them. Imagine shoe-horning a V8 into one !! -

Miata's have always been a sweet ride !!! Not girly at all. Alot of aftermarket stuff waiting for you to put on it !! -
Did my spring cleaning on my Z. Now I hate to drive the damn thing. Its a 1991 Nissan 300Z Twin Turbo. Few mods to raise the HP up to 425 at the rear (dyno tuned). Hope to get it to around 600HP in the next few years (larger injectors and bigger turbos). Lets see some other clean cars !!!! http://got-guitar.com/Zcar/_DSC2054.JPG
