There have been loads of reports of people getting punkbuster problems.Try what Katana has said, cause he's been plagued by it for weeks now. Hopefuilly punkbuster will get out a fix soon, and all will return to normal.

yep, it would be ok if you only wanted older games, but I figure it would lack on cod4 even because of the graphics card. I personally like overkill on powersupply, but 650 watts or higher should suffice for most graphics cards now. and I too would double the Ram and get 8 gig.

I have the 560ti and it's a great card. just do not get the new drivers, get ones from the 280.xx whatever. the newest ones are causing random pink screen freezes, unless you run dual monitors. other than that its a great card, I get 125 fps avg on all games which is also where I capped it at. all games are running on highest setting so far. MW3 is the newest game i have, and it runs that well also. hope this helps. don't let the driver thing worry you if you like the card.

yeah, 8 gig would be enough. brand what ever, kingston and corsair and crucial are my norms.

You've all been in it longer than me. My first was a 633mhz intel HP with 64mb ram, and onboard video, and 30 gig hdd, with windows ME. My father in law was a pc guru, and I showed it to him in the sale paper and he said that was an awesome deal and that id never fill up that hard drive. We later upgraded the ram to 512mb, and 80 gig hdd and installed win XP on it. It was still running until about 3 years ago or so. Not used, but running. And to think, my Droid X smartphone is twice the powerhouse as my first pc but it only has a 16gig sd card. The amazing thing is the extreme advancement of the last 10 years compared to the 20 years before that. We've REALLY come a long way in this last decade.

I got that Monday every couple of minutes, I did the PB update and played for a couple hours after that no problem, but I haven't had time to play since to see if it's still doing it. I'll try again in a few minutes.

the other program that you tried. when you got rid of it, did you uninstall it or just delete it? if you just deleted it, then it still has stuff in the registry, and that could be the problem.
