  1. I was offered 400 pounds for the dagger yesterday. The items are not for sale, one of my sons loves world war 2 stuff, so one day they'll belong to him. He and I made some models together over the Christmas holiday and had a lot of fun doing it. One of my brothers says he has an Iron Cross (in mint condition-never worn) awarded to my Great Uncle in 1939 for his service in WW1. I'll post a picture when/if it gets here. Anyone else have relics?
  2. For those of you who don't know, I am into WW2 history. This week, out of the blue a friend came in and told me he had some things in his attic and asked me if I wanted them. Of course I accepted. While we are very confident they are real, we have a collector in London working on the verification. The blade reads: "Everything for Germany." The insignias show the owner was a member of a panzer division (we think the 12th). Anyway, just thought I would share.
  3. Depends on if your Hawaiian Leadfinger., They see it as if there land was stolen, and it was. Their queen was imprisoned in her palace by us, and kept there. Annexation is annexation. Because America did it, doesn't make it okay imo. In the early 1990's we defended a country named Kuwait from the same, bad behavior. When I was writing my first novel I did a great deal of research on Hawaii and their legends/religious beliefs. They are a proud people, with an amazing heritage. I also spoke with a Shaman or Kahuna. He explained to me the Hawaiian way of Aloha. Really amazing philosophy, and a way that brings peace, not death. Landshark
  4. Dean, So sorry to hear about your mom. I lost mine a few years ago, and it's tough. I'll be praying for you, and I want you to know if you need an ear, let me know. So glad you got to visit her last August, that helps I think. I saw my mom shortly before she had her massive stroke, and I will never forget that. Here is a song that sums my mom up, she was always there for me. The song brings tears, but they are healthy tears, and a reminder that God is there for us. Praying for you my friend. If I can help, let me know. Gary AKA: Landshark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnuWkbZuG1k&feature=share
