Mrs. Smeggie and I spent the weekend working on the boat and enjoying the great outdoors.  What an amazing weekend, weatherwise, here in the Metro D.C. area.

Managed to snag some shots of my favorite bird, the Bald Eagle and symbol of freedom.

And what a sunset!  Shame it had to end.....

That's crazy! i love some of these birds. I have a small parrot that bites and talks at the same time ROFL

The Bald Eagle can lift as much as 7 to 8 pounds.  Keep your family critters inside  🙂

We even get them up here, we have 2 currently nesting in the park down the road and a lake I used to fish at aways had one flying about, gorgeous to see in action!

Knock on wood its been pretty mild this year.  Rainy, but mild temps.  Reminds me of summers in the 70' and 80's.  But then again I was young then and could handle the heat better.  🤣  Or maybe the Earth has tilted a little.

Did you ever hear of a Stormho, seems very cool birds too

I spotted one the otherday and had to snap a picture of it.

Anyways, this is my little friend. She kisses me when i go to work, when i go home, screams, swears, eat dinner with me every day.
