If all you want to keep is pics and game profile best thing to so is burn them to disc or if you have a flash drive.

Use windex.. spray it all inside the case.. make sure you get plenty of it on your processor. That will clean it up real nice. Laughing

BUT.. make sure you use anti-static cloths to wipe it up.

FIRST!!! create a new folder on your desktop. This will be used to get your files in one easy to find location.

get the XI downloader to back up CoD game profiles. Others , you'll have to google where to find them. Be sure to save custom maps if needed. Put them all in your new folder.

As for pix, shouldn't be any reason to have any format other than jpg unless you have need for others (gif, targa, iff). Use windows search for "JPG" then "pgp" (Start/search/pictues, music, videos). Click the check boxes you need and search. When the results window pops up press ctrl-a to select all, r-click and drag them to your new folder. Might take a while depending on your system. On second thought, you might want to save animated gifs also, so do a search for "gif" and repeat. Also look thru them and delete Windows installed pix or incriminating evidence such as Mals boobs.

Search for music or custom sounds (wav, mp3, ogg, flac).  Repeat.

Look at the properties of your new folder for the size. If it's greater than 600mb then divide the files into two or more folders of less than 600mb (cd size is 650, 50mb is a safety factor). Now burn everything to disk.

When you set up your new system, I suggest a separate drive or partition to keep all pix or profile backups safe. It also makes it easier to redo next time.

While not needed, I always run KillDisk on my drives before a reinstall. It overwrites the whole disk. I have seen Windows NOT reinstall but meerly "undelete" the previous Windows files.

I use Gparted to partition my drives. Both KillDisk and GParted have free versions and can be found at majorgeek, filehippo or any of the other free sites. Gparted is Linux based but is straightforward and easy to use.

Good luck!!

Boy that Yoda sure does babble on.

Be sure you have your firewall, anti-malware etc. on hand before you start.

And look at a backup program so you can get a backup while it's still a CLEAN install.

Also, you probably have the upgrade files for COD somewhere on your HD.  You will need those to get to the current version, otherwise you will have to DL them again.  Don't forget the upgrade files!

I'd just save everything I want to keep on a external hd Danko.    Do you have the system disk that came with your computer?  I'd also save my documents, and any favorites or special settings that you might like to have later on.

What the hell you guys talking about. Jezz All the game info's on the side of the box the game came in. The photo's are all old go take some new ones. There your done and no domestic labour such as cleaning was involved. And why would you want to piss in your computer when all this snow is around giving you a perfect opertunity to pratice penis calligrapy. Then again if you got your pecker caught in the cpu fan causing the system to fry its self leaving some type of blister on your little member. Thats blister not some wierd wart like unchileno has creeping up from hes feet. Wizard might take some pity and pop off a new one already set to go for you. Just saying is all/

If you really want it clean just wait to around the first of April when the Internet Consortium launches Internet Cleanup Day. The plan is to use air pressure to blow dust and debris from the nation's Internet pipelines. You are advised to cover your computer and even the keyboard with platic garbage bags since all that dirt will be forced out through end-user systems. The Consortium says this will speed up the Internet by 30 percent.

Can't wait.

There is one more critical step you must do after pissing on it. You must have it shit out all those hack Danko! then you can continue to the easier steps of it all!
