Check your idle temps and gaming temps. You can use Speccy for this, its free program. Just hanging up could be any number of things, but this is where I would prefer to start myself. If temps are high then give it a cleaning on the inside. Carefully vaccuum out any dust and debris from any fan openings, and the processor heatsink. dont remove the heatsink, just use a Qtip or something to help clear the fins and losen the gunk up for the vaccuum. if that don't help, hollar again and we'll think of something else to try.

You can do defrag too for cod and system disks.
