England vs Italy, 0-0, heck neither team deserved to win.

Strike 3 and I'm out. That was my last try at trying to watch and appreciate soccer.

I just have better things to watch like Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse.

Or even Piers Morgan. ;%29.gif

Hey kleinehexe, where's your confidence in your team gone? :help: Germany musn't play with Italy.....They gotta shoot'em down :2guns: for 2006 as Germans did it with each team till now in this tournament. England showed that they are absolutely beatable (in a high-tension match! :respect: ). Penalty is luck and luck is a bitch and history is crap. By the way...i love italian football 'cause they are rather tricky but they are already too sure to meet the Spains in the final...(and the Spains prefer Italy in the final....why?But first they got to show what they can against Portugal....Spains fear Portugal! )

so let's versalt their soups and show them all where the hammer hangs! :fish: :yahoo:

and eat their ice-cream for breakfest mmmh :yes ,lecker!

Spamje Portugal almost fell asleep at this show which was decided by a lottery.

I hope tonight we will see a real game and not another boring ballgame.

Germany leaves the Italians all over the field see: p

2-0 for Germany

At least they ran across the field all the time compare to some others teams (I mean french of course lol). Sad to win by the lottery but it's the game... Hope there will be goals tonight.

Yesterday was just what anti-football on the field was in Spain.

A team which not even real attackers were drawn.

Football is about goals that makes this sport beautiful to watch.

But with the development of Spain is quite a task for outsiders to not fall asleep.

That match yesterday between spain and portugal was the reason why some americans think soccer's boring and considering this example they are right.

But tonight it will be (hopefully) completely different. Germany vs. Italy is 1 of the, if not THE most popular match of all. For many even more attractive than playing against Brasil.

As the poor fellows from England, which are waiting for over 40 years in the meanwhile for their 2. star, Germany could never succeed against Italy in a big tournament. So we know as much as them what hurts:)...

Tonight there will be high tension guaranteed, in anyway! And no matter who wins tonight; the winner MUST win against Spain and I wish that this time Germans earn the price for their efforts and if not.....I'll go to the city in (if I'm able again, lol) in the most famous English Pub and drink "some" pints with the English Co-sufferes and then we sing together 'cause one thing is for sure: At least the best football-songs are still producing Englishmans and Germans. :guitar::detective:

Italians can bear to loose this time (even if they don't want to,lol) but Germans have to fight till to the end and they will this time!!!

And by the way, for me Rooney played well and I never had the suspicious that he wouldn't give all for his country. He was the only 1 who smashed his penalty without hestating and full power, absolutely secure, in the goal without letting the goali any chance. So I personally don't understand this stupid discussing about him.

And back to the subject: SCHLAAAAAAAAND!!!:rolleyes:B):animier:

Dare I try to watch one more time?

Right now I am ahead on making use of my time, I did not watch Spain vs Portugal. Wise use of time on my part.

Germany vs Italy I may be compelled to watch. My son-in-law is from Italy, he'll have his blue shirt on, a little home made wine and be at his bocce club for the game.

I suppose I have a moral duty to support him.

If Italy wins my daughter may have to go pour him in the car to drive him home,

Nice game

Unfortunately, germany is too much adapted to Italy.

football-fan-apparel-07.jpg This I will miss the most

Italy was a surprise in this tournament they have now to win the tournament..

From a defensive to an offensive football country.

Go Italy go: p

Italy was the only team I saw that scored more than 1 goal.

Based on a dynamic and devastating offense I shall have to root for Italia!

Whoot!!!! 2 whole goals, how exciting. ;%29.gif

1. Shamu that's fortunatly not right. With a different selection in the game before Germany shot out Greece with 4:2. :D

2. I warned that the Italians are tricky. They begin weak, whining about problems and declare always (like too many others, lol) Germany as favourite. But actually they serve and hide their real power for the important games. Really clever! Like always. That's why they have 4 stars!!!! And for me, who cannot win against Italy, deserve nada.

3. Germany is blessed with an absolutely snotty, icompentent and selfcritic-resistent trainer. He changed that much a winning team by taking always those out who were good in the infight and scored till they were completely disorganized and ran around like frightened chickens. He managed even to change the rule that a game last 90 minutes and at the end wins Germany now definitely in: And at the end wins ITALY! :yes

But now the good news for all those who think that Jogi's (the "german trainer" ) irreproducible decisions verge on high treason since he took over the command.....you must know that he gave us so much more. We only got to open our eyes and see that he fullfilled a deeper mission (=neutralizing the team- and winning-spirit) for all of us and our best. He (half-) finally tought the Germans (and before already in the 4th class!), that it's so much more important too lose cultivated than win without plan. From the bottom of my heart i hope that he will lead us in Brazil another time on the 3rd or 4th place. Main point is not to win because it's better they laugh about you than being hated. He's really a wise man. Thank you Jogi! Ich habe fertig (mit dir auch). :wallbash:

Eh no......FORZA RAGAZZI ! (please finito ticitacakickikacka) :flower:

I just had a report (2:00 PM EDT) from my daughter, her husband, John (Gianfranco) born in Italy, is at the local Italian club with his Bocce team and appears to be a little drunk even before the game begins.

John also carries on the old family tradition of wine making using the old wood press and Jack Daniels whiskey barells. She said a few cartons of bottles went to the car before he left.

I can bet tears will be shed if Italy loses.
