That being said you will draw less power and will see a slight performance boost. You do have to make sure that your current drive has a sata connector and not the old IDE 2 inch connector. Although yes, you might have a SATA 2 controller, but it would be fine. The speed would be like 2,5 faster rather than a conventional harddrive. BigPapaDean 1 Awards
