I'm sure it might have been covered but I'm new and having graphics issues with bf3,I have not issues with system in years,I'M m getting large fractures and spikes across screen and cant it to adjust out any help here would be nice thank you..  Radeon HUD 5850 win7 64  8GB of mem ..

Turned down all graphics to low and see if that helps

I second the turn graphics to low...also, run a quick google search Angus to see if anyone has the same issue with your graphics card.

Do you have a tuning tuning tool running? ( something Like Expertool for nvidia cards). If you do, make sure that it is running on a normal profile

 

Run a Benchmark tool like 3DMark and watch out for graphic issues when the tests are running.

hd 5850 , you want to run graphics settings on low if only one card , i have 2x hd 6850 and run on medium . also the latest drivers don't work for me it keeps crashing , just because they are the latest drivers doesn't mean they are any good.also turn off the overclocking  facility in vision control center.

Yes, if the card isn't reproducing the same issue in other games then "The Duck" ( :welcome:) is probably right about the drivers and settings. If it is doing the same in all games though, it could be on it's way out.  :no You could also check to see if it's seated in the PCI-E slot correctly. The good old take it out and put it back in technique. Lol
