It was developed by Alan Turing and Gordon Welchman. I don't know if there was a more powerful machine but I would like to know more about it. I know that they had several versions of the Enigma. Maybe one of them? Please let me know if you find out the names of the documentatios. I am fascinated about how how complicated Enigma was and still easy to use. Sonovabich 1 Awards

Also a little bit about the 3 men that built the machine and cracked the code, these men probably shortened WW2 but there names have only just been revealed, it makes me very proud to watch things like this, these men should have been honoured but their names were kept secret for years. It turned the Battle of Kursk, Orchestrated the D-Day landings and was also used in the cold war after WW2, that's why it has been kept a secret for so long. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00l9j3g http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00l9j0v Edited June 2, 2013 by Sonovabich TecHnOBoY 1

It's a shame they have let Bletchley park get rundown like that, they should have made a wartime Museum or something there to honour it and the people who worked there.
