Added a new game, based on Demolition but with a few additions. I invite everyone to give it a try.

 

As with Dem you must destroy both targets (A and then B in that order).

Defenders have unlimited respawns. Attackers have a team respawn limit.

Destroy target A and the respawn limit is reset.
All attackers have a bomb. If the defenders defuse it try try again.

Many custom spawnpoints added to maps at runtime.

Players respawn on their teammates.

Teams that stick together are more likely to respawn together.

 

In the maps chosen some of the added spawn points may be in spots not normally available. Tops of a few buildings, of rocks, or things like that. If anybody gets stuck somewhere note where it is and I will move it.

 

The maps are medium to large in size and allow for a great deal of freedom of movement. When the team moves as a unit the better you push towards the target the closer you will respawn to your teammates.  If all players are dead on your team when you respawn it will default to the start spawn areas. Teams must win three rounds to win the game.

 

Maps: Recon Delta 2. Canal BF3, Breakout V2, GB Sharqi, Aerodrome, Processingplant, Pripyat.

Thanks. This kind of gametype certainly benefits a larger game. Small ones would do better with Demolition on small maps.

Trying out a new gametype on the test server.

 

A free-for-all elimination game with various additions. Five rounds and there is no traditional time limit. Instead there is an elimination timer. After the first kill of the game (first blood) a server timer of 5 minutes starts. If a kill is made by any player the timer is reset. However if no kill is made and the timer expires a random player will explode. There is no weighting on who is killed. It can happen to anyone. In a larger server the timer will be less, depending on the number of players. More players = shorter timer. Eventually there will be only one player left standing. Either due to player kills or elimination.

 

All players start with an empty pistol and a knife. At random intervals care pacakges are dropped that contain one of the following types with a random item. Primary weapons with iron sights, attachments, perks, explosives, also armor & ammo. The item is not known until it is taken. If a new primary is taken the old one is lost, along with its attachments. Players may have three perks. If a fourth is taken the oldest of the current three is lost. One explosive allowed, which can be frags, c4, clays, chinalake, or rpgs. Minefields are distributed around the map. They all start as inactive. At random intervals three become active. Compass and objective icons for pacakges and minefields.

:thumbup: Gave it a look yesterday, only me on unfortunately, hope it takes off, probably won't as everyone is still obsessed with Ftag, we play this now in BF4 i like it.

Obsession is a dangerous thing. Causes people to miss out on new and possibly better ideas. :lol:

 

Since to make this work each map has to be weighpointed... like pezbots is... its not just plug and play. I will do more of them if people play the game.
