Star Wars dark forces it was called. It game out in 1995 and the PC version ran on Dos . The last time I played it was on PS1. Basically I forgot all about the game until I seen it on one of the humble bundle sales there a few months back. I have played the original Tomb Raiders through dos before with no hassle as there was many patches to install the game so it would just boot up in dos without any commands. The star wars game that I am trying to install/play as to be mounted and installed through the dos commands. I mounted the game ISO onto a virtual drive and eventually mounted the game through the dos commands aswell as you need to, to access the game directory. After 30 mins or so I was able to mount the ISO through DOS commands. Once I was in the virtual drive I typed "dir" and it showed the game directory within the drive. I seen the "install" executable file so I typed "install.exe".....then the installation for the game finally popped up . I click install then standard installation and then it tells me I have insuffiecent space in my hardrive... I then click on custom install and it tells me which game files are required. It says 8mb of hardrive space is required and that I have currenty -1kb space haha I will include photos ....if anyone has experience with Dosbox or has a good knowledge in Dos it would be appreciated! Are there settings in DosBox for pre-allocating drive space? Many VM engines just allocate the space "as needed" and you might have an issue where it doesn't know to expand your storage space. I haven't ever used DosBox but it's just a thought.

I'll look in the manual & see if that's an issue. What did you mount C: under? My laptop & desktop have C: mounted under my actual c:/program files/games. Try watching this YouTube, and I'll do a little reading. Barron 1 Awards

Turns out I was missing a line or two of Dos thats why it was saying that there was insuffiecent space. Cheers for the input anyway guys! Theres actually a websites that has a whole archive of all the Dos games that are all free to download. Its worth a look if your interested http://www.dosgames.com/ and http://www.dosgamesarchive.com. The orginal Doom , Wolfenstein and GTA and many more are there free to download. Wolf3d, MDK, Tombraider, Railroad empire, et all are still great time killers. I run Doom under GZDoom, which allows OpenGL rendering and enhanced resolutions. Doom is fascinating, and I'm still finding secrets. Barron 1 Awards

Yeah I have seen that there is many graphic enhancer mods for most Dos games. I seen a few done on youtube and with the graphic enchancers and they do look brilliant. Thats something I might just mess around with next Awards

Like the settings for Soundblaster. I loved old dos. I got Warcraft 1 to run but not IPX network to try multiplayer. Barron 1
