I love using it, but it doesn't pickup some servers I play, which is why I guess it needs to be updated.

I am all for the least path of resistance. If creating a site or page for map download is easier than recoding the software, do that. Unless you just LOVE to code and don't want to say goodbye.. lol

Where we at on this. I have a guy that is from UK and is having trouble down loading maps for COD5 and I told him about the rar files I made up to down load all of the maps but he said his computers virus program wouldn't let him download the rar files.

Well its not us on that. That guys computer is wound up to tight. He would have to say yes to allow access to the down loader so he might as well say yes to the .rar file same thing in the end.
