Here's the error I get... Make sure Call of Duty is run from the correct folder. Tried to uninstall it and reinstall but the install errors out saying that I have to have "Flash" installed. Haven't had Flash on the system in ages and can't install Flash since Adobe dumped it years ago. Any ideas? Also this is not a Steam version. Soes the Steam version work with Win 11? I have COD2 on Windows 11 and have not had that type of problem. I find the game takes a bit to load but otherwise works. I've had it loaded for some time now and honestly don't recall if I loaded it before or after I upgraded to Windows 11. The 0 files in iwd files almost sounds like the game files didn't install correctly. I'd start by uninstalling the game if you haven't already and manually delete any COD2 game folders/files if any remained. Then try to re-install the game along with PB and direct X if prompted. You can also try changing the properties of the .exe file to change compatibility mode and see if that makes a difference. It took me a few times loading it and removing it till I finally got it to work on mine. I had to clean out every trace of the program and files from my system to get it to work. Never found a direct way to resolve the issue. Originally when I had purchased my new computer I downloaded my game files to a external hard drive and then reloaded them into the new computer.
