(shhhh) From there I got in to a lot of quality SKA Bands. (and boots n' braces andbad hair cuts – basically a Ska loving punk kid) a few years earlier I remember the first time I heard "Nelson Mandela"it was a really big kick to find more. (Note to the young ones: this was wellbefore the web so it wasn't so easy to find good stuff back then) This Youtube does the song no justice; it deserves to be played on vinyl andmust be loud!!! (My kids and I get to enjoy my records now that the wife hasmoved out....YEAH!!!) SKA is really a niche thing here a lot of people are turned off from thewhole thing by crappy 90's ("third wave") Ska-punk (there were somegood ones but most was crap) and here where it's out of it's native environmentthe whole Ska scene is very cartoonish and dorky.
