That’s a midrange system. The i3 12100 is an awesome little processor for the price. You should be fine with the games you want to play. More demanding games will require turning some settings to medium or low. Yep that works around 80% of the time. Some times you have to do it a couple times. And some times it likes being an asshole all day long. I'm pretty sure it happens every time the server host is having connection problems which seems to be happening quite alot especially recently. I have been playing Freezetag on ESCs servers late at night and they do not have Any server related latency issues like we have had ever since we switched over years ago. Our servers feel like laggy SHIT HOLES 24/7 compared to most other servers. Even with a 30-33ms ping the whole server just feels sluggish and laggy even if you are the only person on the server. NFO Servers is an absolutely fucking Horrible server host. ESCs host is Chicago Gameservers btw. If it wasn't for the 10-20+ms higher pings and our Aussie players having trouble connecting because of it I would really really really like to see us use Chicago Gameservers as a host instead of NFO Servers but they do cost quite a bit more. Part of the lag is mod related but server 1 lags as well.

Agree with ya. But the lag is also related to the server using version 1.7 instead of cod4x.

look at the recommended specs for the games you want to play and go from there. looking at the specs for that pc it better be super cheep like newer games need a min of 8Gig video ram but are you wanting to play at 1080p? 1440p? 4k needs lots of ram 12 Gig minimum
