What? You don't smoke Johnny? I never smoked in my life until a few months ago when I saw your really bad ass signature with the smoking soldier and the two smokes attached to his helmet. Now I find out it's all a lie? I feel so used.
Seriously, I'm a smoker and there are times when I want to quit, badly. But I do love it and am fully aware that if I manage to avoid cancer it will still shorten my life significantly, but that's my choice to make. They're already trying to take our guns away because they are so dangerous. What's next? Alcohol and our cars? I envision our future United States where nobody is allowed to leave their houses and we all take some pill instead of eating food. Our only exposure to other people will be through computers and social media so there are no risks in life at all. When we do venture outside we will be in padded full body suits in case we get exposed to the sun or accidentally fall down and hurt ourselves.
I have to laugh at all of the grand claims by the anti-smoking crowd to scare everybody into believing that just watching a person smoke will give you cancer. The deaths attributed to second-hand smoke are a complete myth and there are no facts to back up their claims even though they throw these "facts" around as if there is. If you know a doctor, ask him how many deaths he knows of that were attributed to second-hand smoke. If he's telling the truth, the answer will be ZERO.
The world is changing and we're trying to make smoking tobacco completely illegal everywhere, and yet we are doing just the opposite with smoking pot which of course has just as many particulates in it as tobacco but it's "medicine" and really good for you. And don't get me started on the newest campaign to stop people from smoking e-cigs in public. It's fucking water vapor with nicotine in it, nothing else and it has ZERO effect on people standing around you. Besides, nicotine alone does not cause cancer or any other adverse illnesses, so why ban it?
If you're interested in seeing some FACTS on second-hand smoke, read this link. It's an eye opener and written by real doctors.

For those of you who have quit smoking, congratulations! I'll quit when I'm ready and until I do leave me and the other smokers the fuck alone.
