Good post Ter. When I saw the Ebaumsworld link I had my doubts that it would be legit, knowing how much you love that web site. About 5 years after my wife and I were married the 1 carrot heart shaped diamond center stone fell out of her engagement ring. We couldn't afford a replacement at the time and she very reluctantly took the ring off and put it in a safe place. A few years later we were cleaning out the house to move into a new house and while I was emptying the silverware drawer I happened to look down in the crud at the bottom of the drawer and there was the diamond. I didn't say a word to her and a few weeks later for Christmas I had it re-mounted in her engagement ring and hung the ring box on the Christmas tree for her to see. She was floored.

I'm Irish, and I can attest to the authenticity of this story.

I saw that a few days ago. A heart warming story if ever there was one.

I'm ok with removing the perks as long as that's what a majority of people want and it's not just a couple people. I can think of about 5 people who use them on a regular basis and the ones who complain the loudest tend to be those who win most of the time, so the perks kind of even things out for them and make the game more fun. The plane on our current rotation of DM maps is nearly impossible to get and doesn't work very well on most of them so I don't care if it goes. When I asked about adding the knives a few months ago I didn't expect them to be a weapon choice on every map. I agree with UK that it's kind of a pain in the butt rotating between three weapons and would be better if the knives were part of a menu choice like the other perks since they are used so rarely. We might even consider having a knife only map, perhaps a very small one like Cheesey.

At my age taking a normal dump is about as gratifying as anything else.

Yep, plumbers and electricians are just about the highest paid trades. It pays big time to know how to do a lot of that yourself. I replaced my 3 crappers last year as well as new wax rings. It's a good idea to replace those damn rings every few years just to avoid replacing a bathroom sub-floor.

Hxtr, from the moment you made the first post about the water system I just knew that you had made an investment and were selling these things. Trust me, I understand the need to do your own thing. I've made a career out of it and I've made my living from hair brained ideas most of my life. When I was a kid in Ohio I used to dig up ginseng roots for a wholeseller and made $100 a pound, and in China it sells for a couple thousand an ounce. Asians seem to think that a lot of things have magical powers to heal the body and they will pay just about anything to get it. That's why bengal tigers and rhino's are nearly extinct because the Asians think their body parts make them healthier. I'm afraid this water system is no different. Since you've brought this subject up I've been doing a lot of reading about Kangen. I honestly couldn't find a single creditable source that will back up any of the claims they make about their water systems. They seem to make up the medical conditions and their water system is a cure-all for these bogus conditions nobody has ever heard of. I hope you can sell enough of them to make your money back, but if you don't just write it off as a lesson not to be repeated. Good luck with it.

For what it's worth, anybody is free to post whatever they want and as often as the like on our forums as long as they don't violate clan rules such as personal attacks. If there are people who don't like or appreciate what somebody else is posting they are free not to read it. If there is a poster who has broken clan rules, the site administrators will make the decision to remove it and nobody else.

All of the major networks in the US run "reality shows" no-stop all week during what used to be called prime time. Long gone are the days of popular sticoms and drama shows like Seinfeld, Mash, Cheers, and Hill Street Blues, only to have been replaced by The Biggest Loser, American Idol and others like it. Nobody seems to know how to write good shows any longer. TV is pretty much a waste land.

I blame Obama for Hxtr's current mental state. There, I made this a political discussion. Now move it to the political forum.
